Remarks

I feel that our college is doing it right or in fact best when comes to academics, culture, infrastructure, activites etc. Our college is not at a deservable position when it comes to brand image and placements. There can be always an improvement expected

Entrance Preview

I took AIEEE test and I got All India Rank 7233. This is the best college I could get at my rank. Also, the admission process for this college started earlier than the other college admissions. When I visited the campus, I was really impressed over the top-notch infrastructure and the curriculum which was heavily inspired from those foreign universities.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

Course structure I would rate it 5/5. Course curriculum and faculty is what I would keep as the top of the list when I describe about this college. Its not limited to some traditional learning of evolution in technologies, there is a lot more. Apart from the pure technical subjects, we are encouraged to take courses like bio-technology, environment studies, Introduction to scientific fiction, Marketing and Management, Introduction to governance, Game theory, Introduction to animation. These courses are very interesting and gives a different orientation to the students. Great thing here is that you can chose what field you want to get a deeper insight, based on the first two years of education that covers almost everything (electronics, embedded, computers, communications etc)All the faculty are very helpful and reachable to us. PhD is the qualification and some of the quite popular at national level. Many of my friends started research under them and they got admissions for MS in the related field in reputed foreign schools just by getting referred from our faculty.

Internships Opportunities

There are two internships as a part of our college curriculum. One is rural, which needs to be done under a NGO. And the other one is research/Industrial. Most of us are opted for research as it is a very good opportunity to work with our faculty on some of research topics.

Placement Experience

3.5

Our college offers one course (ICT) for the Bachelors degree and can accomodate upto 250 students every batch . As far as I know, no student passes out of this college without a job offer. Infosys who recruits about 50% of the students every year while other companies like TCS, Wipro Accenture, Ericson, Sapient, Cybage are the main takers. DirectI, Microsoft, Flipkart are the biggies .

College Events

4

Synapse is our college festival which happens in Feb every year for almost 10 days. The celebrations happen at very big scale and there are numerous brands that come for sponsorships. Its a mix of all which includes cultural activities, technical competetions, online gaming competetions, Sports, Rampage, entertainment. Students get a very good experience while organizing activities that involves budgetting, managing and dealing with outside organizations for sponsorships.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have not taken any loans and do not have enough information on this to share with .

Campus Life

5

Gender ratio is poor, could be due to the location, could be due to the merit percentage of men is high, in almost all the batches 80% are boys. Campus is of 50 acres and its nicely constructed with lots of greenery . No uniform, no attendance limit. There is a club house building which is the most happening one. It has a lab that contains the apparatus which helps students to work on their technical interest like robotics. There is a nicely equipped gym.

Hostel Facilities

5

Its not a mess system. There are about 5-6 food courts which offers variety of food and that too all the time (even at midnights). We all love food here. Rooms are on sharing basis for 2 people. We usually dont opt for outside PG's leaving our spacious ho

Alumni/Alumna

Our alumni always stays connected through google groups and other ways of communication. We keep hearing about the updates of college and we keep helping each other when needed.
