Remarks

Yes. We have lack of good faculties and lab facilities in our college. The academic structure is poor. No grants and providing properly. Heavy fee for courses like btec. Hostel is not available for all students.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

Our course is not desire to be a professional course. Because there is not much to study. This may be because of the teachings and the exams that I feel so. Our exams are so easy for getting a pass mark.

Placement Experience

0.5

No placements in our campus. This is a major crisis. And this is a major crisis for our course. We are a Rawe period of about 6 months, that is a semester. In that period we visit many farms and plants.we never get any stipends.

College Events

3.5

We have many memorable events in our college. First we had our arts in the first year. We won second. Also in the sports we won second. And our holy celebrations were awesome. We had a nice Freshers party by our seniors.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Though ours is a government course, we have about 12000 per semester and hostel rent about 2000 per month. The class facilities are more or less poor. Nunber of chairs are not appropriate and also the projector is not working properly.

Fees and Financial Aid

We have egrants in our college based on our category and income status of the family. Education loan is available for our course since it is a government approved. But no loans are available from the college.

Campus Life

1

These are not working well in our college, eventhogh we have a nice arts. But no proper funding by the university and hence we have many limitations. The entire arts and sports are done by our students alone.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel is good. Have good mess with very nice food. Also the facilities are adequate for the students. Good Atmosphere for studies.no any problems from outside. And also we have a good matron and wardon, they are very friendly.

Alumni/Alumna

All the seniors are very helpful for us. They provide early years question papers, their notes etc. Also they help us in certain tough subjects. Also for many of our batch issues they stood with us. Even they help us for getting jobs.

Admission

I got admission in this college through spot allotment after the KEAM entrance. This was at the Trivandrum medical college in the month of October in 2016. There were only 5 seats available and I got the 2nd.

Faculty

1.5

Our college faculties are not fruitful enough. Though they are with much knowledge they are not giving us that much. This is a large crisis and too difficult for us during the exams. They never bother of the syllabus also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is almost best. Curriculum doesn't influenced me in deciding this course. Curriculum should add internships. Currently there is no mandatory internship, if students are interested they can do internship during vacations. As we are learning psychology which need to be practiced in real world settings, curriculum must include real world training to help students understand things more effectively. Currently intervel between exams are non existent. Internal exams, then semester exams, you blink once, next internal exams, followed by semester exams. Syllabus is understandable, can learn if you try. Exams are also manageable. Real world examples and stories can be included in teaching methods, as psychology is related to humans and human interaction, to get better grasp of concepts. Rather than focusing on passing exam, should focus on the concepts and understand them in-depth. There are a lot of theories to study by heart. And there are many repetitive topics that overlap, but in different semesters.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is Bsc Biotechnology. It is a research associated course. Its main scope is in research. But in every industry let it be medical or industrial a biotechnologist is required. I would like more practical knowledge than theory knowledge in this course as it is needed to be implemented in labs hands on experience is essential. Exams are conducted every 6 months as semester. Class tests and model exams are conducted frequently. Assignments, projects, seminar ,etc.. are given every month.
