At first we come to the positive side of our college that is our bonding on each other. And the faculties really good. Programs are really well organized in our college. But one thing is there which is placement related issue as we the 1st batch

Course Curriculum Overview

This Civil Engineering course is for Four years. Per year there are Two semester and Four internal examination. And Two Practical examination also attached with the semester examination. And also assignments are there.

Placement Experience

Our TPO cell is very active try harder to find placements for us. But our college is very new so there is somoe placement problem. But some companies like Wipro Cognizant etc organize placement program in our college. But our internship process is very good.

College Events

So much programs are held in college by our cultural society. Like rabindra jayanti Freshers Program named CROESO, Fest named Esparenza, Independence day Republic Day, Biswakarma Pujo etc. Iftar party was also be organized by our friends in this year.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is very feasible. It's not at all expensive. It's less expensive. Tuition fee is One Thousand Five Hundred only. And Semester Fee is Six Thousand for Core department. Library fee are included

Fees and Financial Aid

I am not able to avail any scholarships. But some facility are offered by our college. And But some of our friend is able to get some scholarship. As I am not able to avail any scholarships so I can't able to speak So much about it.

Campus Life

The Labs , sports ,and extracurricular activities are really good in our college. There are more than 3 labs for each department. And our college football team is very good. even cricket team also.

Hostel Facilities

There are 3 hostels in our college. One Girls'Hostel and two boys' hostel. One is for 4th year and one is for third year. and infrastructure is very good. For 4th year there is a single room for each one.

External Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna

We are The first batch of our college. So we will alumni after 2020 June. But we are so much friendly with our juniors. And try to help then in any kind of aspects. They also respect us very well.

Admission

At first there is a entrance exam conducted by West Bengal. Which is Named West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination. then according to the students rank he will eligible to get admission in this college.

Faculty

Our most of the faculties are well educated and well behaved. There are 5 faculties in the civil engineering department. 6 faculties are in CSE. And so on. Our principal sir is very well behaved person also.

My Honest Review For Nit Durgapur

Placement Experience:

Yes our college offers campus placements.Students from 4th year are eligible for campus placements.Many reputed nation and international companies like microsoft,Wipro,TCS, Infosys and many more companies offrers placement every year in this college. arrording to 2025 deta overall placement rate was 82 percent, Highest packege was 80 lpa and average packege was 12.6lpa. My only plan to get a good placements.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement from recently past years is slightly good . Like tcs infosys cognizant ibm Capgemini like companies comes every year with good placement and capsitech gives you internship from 3 year . From 7th sem you are eligible for campus placement in 2025 the avg package is 5-7 lpa and Highest lpa is 75lpa . My plan is getting good job in good company

Placement Experience:

7th semester is when the students get to sit for placements. I am not sure about the total no of companies visited but I am aware of the name of few companies like IBM Infosys Wipro Capsitech Tech Mahindra cognizant etc . Mostly the girls are 100 percent placed cause there is diversity hiring. Mass recruiters is what visit our campus mostly.. I personally would look for a job after graduation highest package offered displayed by college is 75 lpa but I don't think so it is real. Maybe someone had worked hard and got placed off campus. On campus highest isbi guess 12-14 lpa

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I choose Data Science as it is new to my college when comparing with the other branches. The curriculum is just okay it is not per industry standards but if students deep drives in each aspects then they are likely to crack GATE exams. - The whole curriculum needs and improvement from the very 1st Year and removal of irrelevant subjects like Discrete Mathematics, Electonics, Biology for IT branches are required. - Semester exams are conducted every 6 months and CTs are conducted every 2 months

If you can't get campus placement , there is a high probability if you can apply for any job outside campus and you have relevant skills you can get it .
