Remarks

NSS college has both positive and negative points. College provides an excellent vibe to its students. But some of the staff are arrogant. The college office is not good. They will make the students walk a lot like government offices.

Course Curriculum Overview

I studied btech under the new university Kerala Technological University. We were the lab rats. Experimented all their new rules and procedures on us. Basically the university were a failure. Exams and results were not at all conducted in an organized manner.

Placement Experience

NSS college of engineering has a good and organized placement cell. They try to get placements for all the students. I also got placed even though I did not have any hope. They give excellent placement training for the students.

College Events

Nss college promotes both studies and cultural activities equally. Starting from the academic year the college celebrations are - Onam celebration, Union inauguration, Freshers Day, Noopuram(college arts), College Fest.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Nss college is a government affiliated management college supported by the Nair Service Society. There are 2 types of seats in the college-merit seat and management seat. Merit seats are given to the allotment process and management seats are nri seats with donation. Both seats are feasible.

Fees and Financial Aid

Nss college offers many scholarships to the students. There are two categories-government scholarships and management scholarships. Government scholarships are applies online and management scholarship are provided by the college management.

Campus Life

NSS college has a very good physical department and staff. NSS supports a wide variety of games and events like football, cricket, basketball. Etc. The lab facilities provided by the college are good with excellent infrastructure.

Alumni/Alumna

NSS college has a very good alumni. The college also keeps a good connection with the alumni. They are very helpful to the college. They help to provide many facilities to the college in all the possible manner.

Admission

I have completed plus 2 and wrote the kerala entrance examination. Passed the entrance examination and got into the rank list of kerala allotment examination. Allotment is a process in which studenta are allotted to colleges based on their ranks. I got admission in Nss under LC reservation.

Faculty

3.5

NSS college of engineering has a good set of faculty(both teaching and non-teaching). I won't say all are friendly and good but the majority of them are friendly and helpful. They encourage students in both educational matters and cultural matters.

the course , the first year its easy syllabus , its just basics based on what you learned in high school , but in a more advanced way. the only flaw in the curriculm is the lack of application level questions all the exams are just theory based questions

Placement Experience:

The placement here is top notch. This year in my campus the highest CTC offered was 56.5lpa by PALOALTO. Placements process is centralised at coimbatore though. Students are eligible for campus placements from third year or s5. Average package in computing department ranges from 10-12lpa. My plans after degree is to pursue MS: opportunities of which are provided by the college itself. In computing department almost 90% of the students have been placed according to the seniors I talked to. However it is lower in other streams.

A honest review on NSSCE Palakkad

For admission,you have to write KEAM examination amd secure a decdnt rank as this is one of the most demanded colleges in kerala.You have to appear in allotment process and join if you gets tge allotment.The admission procedure was so smooth and as per KEAM rules. I had applied for top colleges in Kerala for Engineering studies. I got admitted to NSSCE. I'm so glad that I'm a student of NSSCE. Admission to NSS College of Engineering. Mainly through KEAM Entrance examination conducted by the government of Kerala: General Quota, Reservation Quota are through KEAM Entrance examination of that year. You should have good marks in PCM subjects in the 12th standard. You should perform well in the KEAM Entrance examination of that year. Try solving Objective questions as many as possible. You definitely have to work hard to get admission to premium colleges like NSSCE. Management Quota admission: Should have good marks in 12th standard. Should quality KEAM Entrance examination of that year. Should have a good academic performance history. Admission to NSSCE is highly competitive.
