Remarks

Its too costly according to the facilities and services provided. I would certainly recommend this college if it would be 2010!! But from then the graph of performance has fallen down. If you live nearby Roorkee then better look for good colleges in Dehra

Entrance Preview

I gave AIEEE in 2010 and secured AIR 71000 (approx) rank. COER Roorkee was the nearest from my city and that time it was reputed too. Placements were good that time (esp. In CS branch).

Internships Opportunities

No. Management is only interested in taking money away.Internship is provided by HCL inside college when I was in 4th yr.

Placement Experience

Not very good. I passed out in 2014 and upto then the placements were up to the mark in CS and ET branch. But now the graph has fallen to a great extent.

College Events

Zion - Main cultural event (awsm)Manthan - Technical event ( very good)Both these events happen once every year. Participation in these event takes from outside colleges too. And the programs organised are also very enthusiastic

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee is very high (1.97 lakh / yr) according to facilities provided.Hostel management is pathetic and don't expect security money to be refunded after you pass out. ( I am still waiting for my 12000). Mess food was not at all hygienic and number of students were more than its capacity. I will give 5* out of 10.

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't know much about this. But there is Jain quota for Jain students and also some advantage to Uttarakhand girls.

Campus Life

Campus life is good in terms of ambience. The campus is small so it comes out to be very lively in the evening. Girls are allowed only upto 6.30 pm in the campus . For juniors hostel in time is 11 pm ( hostels get locked after 11) . Overall the outside environment is good and preffered for love birds.

Alumni/Alumna

Management don't care about alumni students. Last time I went for convocation and management did'nt even arranged for water for us . No formal invitation, nothing!!! They even took money for providing degree. ( and forget about security money given at the time of addmission.)Network with seniors is nil in this college. Though some students still interact with some seniors.

Faculty

Faculty of College is very good but the management and politics have ruined its reputation. All the faculties are M.Tech passed and possess a very good knowledge in their domain (aware only of CS branch, ET branch).

Placement Experience:

Campus placements starts here from the final year only as before that intenrships and workshops and trainings take it's toll. So, once they starts, every other week we have some or the other companies visiting here and not just that, they also don't go empty hand.

Placement Experience:

IT and even non IT companies are doing there best by getting students from GEU. Students of our university are involved with them with projects and internships so most of the placements floated at GEU already have students in their mind. Thus, skill levels of our university proves that students here get placements easily.

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .

I choose this course because this college is semi government college in Haridwar . And fees are also not so high as compared to other private colleges . Real world applications are there as we have learn alot of knowledge in our first year about that like communication skills , public speaking , webinar and seminar etc. improvement is only needed in the good infrastructure and much more advanced technology should be there to deal with . The timings are of 3hrs in the semester exams and in the sessional it is of 1 hrs . Difficulty level is moderate .

Placement Experience:

Over 300 companies visited here this year and that's the reason why over CSE students like me were placed. Around 800 CAE students got placed in top tech household names like NVIDIA, Microsoft, Google and some FANG companies as well.

in our college placement is good unless you have Backlogs,less then 75% attendence and the training fee if you dont join the the training fee then you are not allowed to join the placement interviews. those who dont get placement they try off campus for the placement but according to me employbility rate just 6-7 out of 10

Yes, I have applied for other colleges as well, like JAYPEE Noida, but the main thing is that they are not offering the Computer Science branch there, and it was also quite far from my home.
