Placement Experience

4

Ours, being a medical course, the placements are 100%, but there are a variety of aspects to it. Some joined government hospitals as doctors, some has set up their private clinics, while some guys have gone to US for the Ph.D. A few are in the poultry industry. The salary ranges around Rs. 50,000-1 LPM. Few NGOs also interviewed for placements and recruited them as veterinarians in their clinics.

College Events

4

Fresher’s day is love, and graduation day is painful. All national festivals are celebrated with dignity. Dog shows are also conducted. Vet fest, Assamese Day, ethnic day, sports meet, inter-college sports, national level youth festival, etc. are also conducted, and it’s really fun.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Our college is very much affordable in terms of tuition fee and other additional expenses. Facilities provided are also good. Sports facilities are above par, all the sports equipment are provided, and the playground is very big. Indoor stadium is provided for indoor games.

Campus Life

4

The infrastructure is really good, it is the oldest college in the state. It has its own elements of beauty. There is Wi-Fi availability for each department and we can use it for study purposes as well. Medical facilities are also available. Government medical officer attends our cases if we are sick.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The hostel rooms are like heaven, and each room is for 2 students, and it is sufficiently big. Veg and non-veg mess are available for the hostel boarders. Hot water facilities are provided for bathing. Cleanliness is well taken care of. No issues as such to complain about.

Admission

Admission is on the basis of NEET entrance exam. Students are invited for the counseling process and seat allocation is done on the basis of criteria prescribed by CVS.

Faculty

4

The teachers are extremely helpful. Most of the teaching was in-depth and practical oriented. They even clarify our doubts. The teachers are very accessible for the students. Overall teaching quality is good and I would rate it 4.5 out of 5 and there is always scope to get better. The faculty to student ratio is 7:1.

Course Curriculum Overview:

We have both theory and practical classes in equal proportions so the aspects of application of the theory knowledge in practical animals or practical lives are met accordingly. Our exams are conducted in a highly efficient manner and a huge number of exams are conducted regularly, there is no chance of passing the session without studying.
