Glimpses of My college and my degree

Our curriculum is 2016 MSVE Bvsc And Ah, Veterinary deals with a large number of species from Bovine ,To swine.This specification encouraged me to choose the course.Curriculum is very well prepared by central government and highly applicable in real world. Areas where our course curriculum can make improvement is "Add more practicals than Theory). Frequency of exam: in one year each subject conduct 3 internal exam 1 Final exam

Our college offers fully government funded internship . As our college is professional college so government gives us internship stipend. In the period of internship we have go fields and in clinics to treat animals

Tuition fees is around 23000 per year and hostel fees around 14000 tota 37000 rupees in one year . Tuition fees hike occurres evry year but we can't do anything it is due inflation Complete fees of my education is around 168000 in 5.5 year degree including all charges. A lot scholarship available like 1)Merit scholarship offered by University 2) National scholarship policy 4)Ews scholarship etc

Our college conduct a number of events in one academic year it includes Annual prefreshman, Annual freshman program, Annual college meet,Inter College meet ,Inter hostel vollyball tournament,Day night 6-A side cricket tournament . etc Our college has a very large Library and has very wide availability to the journals ..our college has students run students union they conduct various social service activities.

Hostel facility and accommodation is good but little bit old fashioned as the hostel r are made durinng early 70 s ,so Litte bit old. 2 boarders in each room each room has 2 bed 2 table 2 chair one celling fan 2 wardrobe for keepinng cloths . Hostel meal is average with 3 days chicken 2 days fish one day egg in a week for non veg and for veg paneer ,mushroom ,Chole are given.During admission in college itself hostel registration is done.No there is no any rented room or pg near college you have to go Little far

Eligibility of the course is 10+2 science stream .with minimum 60% marks in Biology, physics Chemistry and 50%Minimum marks in English. After that you have to apply for a state level entrance exam named AAU CET . You can get the registration form from Official University website AAu.ac.com. After exam is over results will come than counseling will takes place according to rank and reservation your admission will takes place. 75% Seats are reserved for native people from assam few Seats for NEC students and few seats reserved for VCI students that come from all over India Difficulty level of exam is moderate to hard and exams occurs very often. Admission process is very good and transparent but counseling should be online i suggest that

Faculty to students ratio is ok as our college is a professional college having 18 departments in ug level each department having 1 hod 2-3 professor 4-5 assistant professor of total around 300 professor and 500 students.I have no problems with the faculty as they are very high qualified and their approach to teaching is also very good . I often interact with teachers during theory and practical classes very often.
