Our college is one of the top colleges of Chandigarh.

Our college is strict in attendance and struck off list notices comes out with an interval of about two months. College campus has banner so there is poor network in the college. And about the hostel there should be improvement in breakfast and evening snacks. Since we are also paying more than 1 lakhs. And there should also be provided a store house for the foreign and far away students. Since I belong to North east I faced many problems in transporting luggage each year after the yearly exam.

It is good. We could learn many curriculum all at once. Extra curricular subjects were also provided. Exam structure is based on the Panjab University pattern since it is one of the colleges affiliated to Panjab University. We used to complete the syllabus, a month before the semester exams, as the remaining one month is for the revision of the syllabus.

Yeah, the placements and job opportunities are also given. A different notice board is provided for the notices of placement cells and internships. But I never thought of doing internships so I have only a pinch amount of knowledge regarding internships and placement cells taking place in our college. But I know that the college is working on it to provide more opportunities to the students regarding the internships.

I joined the college in 2017 so, I'll provide only the events that I know and heard of. There are many events taken place in our college but the students know few of it since there is lecture taken place during the events also. There is Meraki Fest during the month of March, Diwali Fest, etc. And many prize distribution events also take place.

The admission fee is not too expensive since it is a semi government college. Fee is taken in according with the basic amenities provided to us. So I think it is feasible to all. The admission fee is under 20k so it is very feasible to all and scholarship facilities are also provided.

I have no idea about the scholarships since my father is a government employee so I cannot opt for scholarships. But I heard there is a lots of scholarships given to the students and even the students having more than 70% were also given cash of 1000 as a scholarship.

In the fields of extracurricular activities our college has provided many facilities also. Labs were given for each practical subjects like Psychology, Fine Arts, Home Science, Cosmetology, Music, Chemistry, Computer, Physics etc. And for the sports there is a large sports ground sports like rock climbing are also teach to the students. NSS cadets are selected yearly. The students are given opportunities in both curricular as well as extra curricular activities.

Yeah, I have been staying in the hostel since 2017 and this is my third year. The hostel is divided into 6 blocks according to the class. The E and F blocks.i.e. the new one is for the newbies, that is for the first year students. It is good in both infrastructure and facilities since it is a new one the room is also clean and new and there is four students in a room. The students of final year and post graduation and 2nd year stay in the A, B, C and D blocks respectively. There is only two rooms for five seaters and two for two seaters in each block and the remaining rooms are three seaters. The buildings are old as compared to the E and F block so the rooms are also very small for having 3 seaters. The students were also provided the facilities like washing machine, laundry, mess, small parks, geyser etc. Cleaning of the rooms were done by the students and the hostel cleanings are done by the Aunties. There is maintenance of cleanliness in the hostel campus. Electronics were not allowed in the hostel and ac are not provided.

Seniors are helpful. But we mind our own business there is no interference in one another. But when ask for help they give us their full support. And alumnis also visit our college and organised lectures for the students as a guidance to us.

Admission is based on the merit list. Dates were alloted in accordance to the merits and the venue and timings were also provided. It is like a first come first serve process. And the subjects allotments were also based on the merits of the students. And for me, I heard about this college from one of my friends and I searched about this college in the internet and got to know that it is the number 1 girls' college in the heart of Chandigarh. I went to seek admission on the provided date and my venue was the college gymnasium hall. At first we had to filled up the forms along with the required documents attested on it and we had to meet the teachers sitting there for their signature of approvement and after their approvement we had to go to the office for the admission. All the process were provided in the college prospectus.

The teaching staffs as well as all the members of the college faculty are very good, polite and very helpful. Teachers are always there for us to guide us and help us. The faculty of the college is sub divided into many departments. I am doing my Honours in History and all of my History teachers are very warm, helpful and very experienced one who are always ready to guide us. There is no such thingls like discrimination and partialities in our college. All the students are treated equally.
