Remarks

The college has a beautiful environment and infrastructure. The college mainly focuses on your academic performance rather than overall development. A person with academic proficiencies can develop themselves and enjoy the college than most other people.

Course Curriculum Overview

The college follows APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University curriculum. There are 8 semesters in total. Each with an average of 6 theory based subjects and 2 practical subjects. Exams are 3 hour written exam.

Placement Experience

The placements opportunities of students are less. Only a very few students gets placed in a company related to their respective departments. Software based companies are the main recruiters of our college. They doesn't provide any internship opportunities.

College Events

We have annual technical fest named 'Asthra', which is conducted once in every academic year. Students from all over kerala attend this event. There is art test named 'Sargam' which is an intra college event. Then there are events that conducted by the IEEE student branch and other clubs in college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Annual tuition fee of the college is Rs.75,000. Then there additional fees for extra curricular activities, transportation, pta funds which all adds up to about Rs.25,000. A total of 1,00,000 is the annual fee of college.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are scholarships provided by college to students with high academic performance in their higher secondary school results. There is also scholarships provided on the basis of entrance rank list. A percentage respective of this list is cut down from annual fee list of those students.

Campus Life

There aren't much opportunities for extra curricular activities like arts and sports. There is support for entrepreneurial student development. The labs are well set up and are availed with best quality instruments.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network helps by sharing placement and internship opportunities for students. They also helps the events and activities conducted in college by providing necessary funds to the cause. There are seminars conducted by the alumnis about their success stories.

Admission

The admission is based on the rank list of Kerala engineering entrance exam. According to this rank list students are allotted to respective departments. There is merit based and management seats available for admission. Merit based is allotted by government and the leftover seats are taken care by management.

Faculty

The faculty is well educated and professional. They are supportive in all activities and project works. There are teachers who are graduated from IITs and other reputed institutions. They are well supportive in our academics and dedicated.

Campus placements are highly volatile taking the stats from over the past three years there has been an up trend as well a down trend, I hope I will get placed through on campus interviews, the highest package of this year was for two graduates who got into IBM with 22 lakhs per aanum, there are few who didn't get into any of the companies while there were others who got int Amazon and other reputated companies, if I do not get into a reputed company through my college on campus placements the. College Feels Like Home

Placement Experience:

The placement department in our college is great and is always trying to bring good companies to the college. The placement training starts from semester 7. Our top recruiter include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, NocoBD, Delloite, etc. and our mechanical, civil, EEE,ECE all got placements with avg of 4lpa.The highest package where 12 Lpa for SAP. My plans is to get a good job and lead a stable life.

Placement Experience:

Students in 7th and 8th semester are eligible to sit for campus placements. Companies like Oracle, Goldman Sachs, L&T, Bajaj, Caterpillar and PSU's like BEL,HPCL and BPCL come to the college usually the coding companies offer aroung 35-40 LPA CTC and the core PSU companies offer around 17-18 LPA. Highest Package is 51 LPA and an Average Package of 12 LPA. Nearly 85% students from Circuit and CS branch get placed and around 60% in core branches who sit for placements, My plans after getting the degree is to join MBA to learn how business world works and how the money flows

My honest review of ICET

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for attending campus placement from semester 7. Some companies that visits ICET are Utc global, Layland, DeltaX, etc. The average package given by the companies are 3 lpa. The percentage of students getting placed are around 40%. I plan to placed at any company.

My options were SJCET and AJCE. Now both are autonomous, when i was there to join a student commit suicide and my friend was already a student who pursuing ece and said dont ever come to the hell.
