If you fail to register during the initial window, you can still apply by paying a late fee (tentatively ₹500 extra).
- This window is expected to be open between February 16 and February 28, 2026.
- No application will be accepted after the closure of the late registration window.

- Use a valid email ID and mobile number you’ll have access to throughout the process.
- Double-check all information before submission.
- Upload documents in the correct size and format.
- Do not wait until the last day to apply; the portal may be slow due to high traffic.
Once you complete the registration:
- You will receive a confirmation on your registered email and mobile number.
- KEA will later release the MHT CET 2026 Admit Card in April 2026.
- The entrance exam is expected to be conducted in April 2026, group-wise for PCM and PCB streams.
- After the exam, the results will be published in June 2026, followed by CAP counselling.

OCI/PIO/NRI Candidates Exempted from MHT CET
OCI/PIO and NRI candidates are exempted from appearing in MHT CET. Such candidates can apply for admission based on class 12/equivalent exams. Separate counselling is held for OCI/PIO/NRI candidates after the admission process of MHT CET
From the academic year 2026–27, CET registration is proposed to be carried out through Aadhaar or APAAR integration to avoid duplicate applications and prevent malpractices during the registration process.

Late Registration for MHT CET 2026

MHT CET Syllabus 2026
The MHT CET Syllabus is based on the Maharashtra State Board Class 11 and 12 format. Around 20% questions are based on Class 11 topics, and 80% questions are from Class 12 topics.
- The MHT CET PCM Syllabus includes Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics.
- The MHT CET PCB Syllabus includes Physics, Chemistry & Biology.

MHT CET 2026 exam is conducted at almost all district headquarters in Maharashtra, as well as in capital districts of selected states outside Maharashtra, including Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Delhi-NCR, Gujarat, Jharkhand, Telangana, Karnataka, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Uttar Pradesh.
Yes. Candidates must upload a valid and updated category certificate during MHT CET 2026 registration. If they fail to provide it, they will be considered under the General category and will not be eligible for any reservation benefits.
