The State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell, Maharashtra, has released the MHT CET application form 2026 at cetcell.mahacet.org today on 10th ​January, 2026. Candidates can now apply for PCM and PCB groups by logging into the CET portal till 12th February, 2026.

  • You must now register with your APAAR ID and Aadhar.
  • Only registered candidates will be able to fill the online application forms.
  • Students who complete the MHT CET registration 2026 and pay the application fee will be able to appear for the test.

When Will MHT CET 2026 Registration Begin?

The MHT CET 2026 registration process started on January 10, 2026, and will remain open until February 12, 2026, for candidates applying without a late fee.

  • The MHT CET registration for MAH-M.P.Ed CET and MAH-M.Ed CET has started from January 5th and will end on January 20th
  • Those who miss the initial deadline can still submit their applications during the extended window from February 16 to February 28, 2026, by paying a late fee.

Who Can Apply for MHT CET 2026?

To appear for MHT CET 2026, candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements:

Nationality:

  • Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply.

Educational Qualification:

  • Applicants must have passed or be appearing in Class 12 or equivalent in the academic year 2025–26.
  • For Engineering (B.E./B.Tech): Candidates must have studied Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Technical or Vocational subjects.

Minimum Marks Required:

  • General Category: At least 45% aggregate marks in the PCM or PCB group.
  • Reserved Category (Maharashtra State only): Minimum 40% aggregate marks.

What Happens After Registration?

After submitting the MHT CET 2026 form, candidates will receive a confirmation message on their registered email and mobile number.

  • The CET Cell is expected to release the admit card in April 2026, and the exam will also be conducted in April 2026 for the PCM and PCB groups.
  • Results will likely be announced in June 2026, followed by the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) counselling.
