One must have scored higher than 60% aggregate in their 10+2 or equivalent education, should not have any active backlogs in the semester they choose to sit for placements, must have done relevant internships, and have an average of 7-7.5 CGPA uptill the semester in which they sit for placements.

What are the institutional shortcomings of OUTR?

The shuttle services are a mandatory payment. There is an examination re-checking fee. Some students have reported the infrastructure of the hostel buildings to be outdated.

How is the faculty at OUTR?

All faculty members meet the credential requirements mandated to be professors at a university establishment. The students have mixed opinions about the faculty. While the teaching methods and lectures are often praised, there are few reservations around the strictness, and the checking of exam papers has been expressed as unsatisfactory by a few.

How does OUTR help in securing good placements?

OUTR has a Placement and Training cell that manages student internships and job placements. The placement cell provides training programs and conducts various seminars, along with giving pre-placement talks that provide information about the companies coming into campus, the job roles they are offering, etc.
