Dr. Y. Srinivasa Reddy has been working as the Head of MBA Department at Scient Institute of Technology, Ibrahimpatnam, Hyderabad, Telangana. He has done MBA from Osmania University and earned his Doctorate in Management from Mysore University. He has an overall experience of above 16+ years as HoD, Assistant and Associate Professor and Trainer for premier education institutions and corporates in the field of Engineering, Management, Accounts and as an NGO. Throughout his career, he has conducted many training programs for Management students, Executives and Managers. He is also in the editorial board as a member for one national Journal.

At present, our college is offering a 2-years duration Master of Business Administration program. And this course is mainly designed to empower students with a comprehensive skill set and knowledge base that will enable them to outperform and stand out in today's highly competitive business landscape. Also under this course, we have adopted a truly holistic approach to deliver business education and have also combined theoretical knowledge with real-world applications. Incorporating this program into our curriculum presented certain challenges, with university syllabi being a key consideration. We had to align our program with the existing university guidelines and academic framework, which required meticulous planning and coordination. 

Also, adapting to these regulations while maintaining the program's unique features and industry relevance was demanding. Another challenge was resource allocation, as offering a high-quality MBA program necessitated investing in faculty, infrastructure, and technology. To address this, we engaged in a strategic resource allocation plan. Despite these challenges, our commitment to providing an exceptional MBA program prevailed, and through innovative strategies and persistence, we successfully integrated this program into our curriculum, maintaining both quality and compliance with university standards.

On what types of projects your students are currently working on under this program?

Under the MBA program, our students work on a wide range of projects to enhance their subject knowledge and gain practical exposure. And these projects mainly are business consulting projects, market research assignments, strategic business plans, and social impact initiatives. They also work on case studies, simulation exercises, and entrepreneurship ventures, which allow them to apply their classroom learning to real-world scenarios.
