Being a HOD of the EEE Department, what are your responsibilities towards the students?
I ensure the delivery of a high-quality curriculum that aligns with industry standards and equips students with the necessary knowledge and skills. I facilitate a conducive learning environment, fostering academic excellence and providing necessary resources for their growth.
Additionally, I strive to address any concerns or challenges faced by students, promote a culture of inclusivity and diversity, and encourage their active participation in extracurricular activities and research initiatives. Ultimately, my aim is to support the holistic development of the students and prepare them for successful careers in the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
How do you establish healthy relations with the students of your college?
I promote an open-door policy, encouraging students to approach me with their concerns, suggestions, and feedback. I regularly interact with them so that I can address their academic and non-academic issues and queries and can resolve them on time. Social events which our college organizes regularly also prove to be a bond maker between us and our students.
How does your department prepare students for Higher education and placement?
For placement, our college has a separate module for training the students. And We offer specialized courses and workshops that enhance their technical knowledge and skills, prepare them for advanced studies or research in reputed institutions. Additionally, we have tie-ups with industry partners, which enable students to undergo internships, industrial training, and placements. We organize guest lectures, mock interviews, and career guidance sessions to equip them with the necessary soft skills and interview preparation.
