Ans. SALdoes not dependends on an MCA degree. It depends on Institute where you have done your post-graduation. Because Companies visit good institute with a good package like TCS provide 3.4 L for MCA fresher, and Oracle provide 6L, So if you crack an A or B grade institute then you will get a good package.
Ques. Can I get a placement in Google after doing MCA?
Ans: Google hires anyone who is technically strong, you see they are world #1 and they stand by it. Of course, you might have thought of this question while seeing other general companies (all of them apart from exceptions) not allowing MCA - just because they have done MCA(some sort of sin).
I am MCA and have faced nonsense from companies regarding - not allowing MCA guys or having higher criteria in acad scores for MCA - I would say rather not get selected by such narrow-minded companies.

On one hand, there is a continuous demand for skilled professionals in software and IT. On the other hand, the number of low-skilled software jobs is not growing (or rather declining).
Broadly speaking, there are three types of entry-level jobs available in the software industry.
Hardcore software programming jobs, which are comparatively fewer in numbers and mostly available in software product companies starting from Startups to large MNCs. You got to have a very high degree of passion and skills in programming to get into these jobs.
Software Application development and maintenance jobs are mostly available with software services companies irrespective of their size ( large, medium, or small). You need not be a software geek to get these jobs but still need to compete with the rest of your peers as supply far exceeds demand. if you prepare yourself for a few months, it is not that difficult to get one of these jobs.
The third category of jobs is in the growth segment which does not need core programming skills but you may still need analytical and problem-solving skills, along with good communication skills. Jobs in business analysis, data analysis, client interaction, digital marketing, and recruitment services are some examples of these kinds of jobs.
If you do not like programming or are not comfortable working on software, it may be a better idea to move to a completely different line. There are all kinds of jobs in the Service Industry, Banks, and Financial Sectors or with the Government trequireires only a Graduation degree as a basic eligibility factor. As an MCA, you are eligible for all of these jobs.
