GMAT Test Center Rules
Candidates have to follow a few predetermined test center rules as mentioned by GMAC while completing GMAT Registration. GMAT Test center rules before starting the exam are as following:
- Candidates have to bring identification proof
- A palm vein scan needs to be done
- Provide a digital signature in agreement to the rules and regulations as mentioned by GMAC
- Take a digital photograph
GMAT Test Center Procedures
As most GMAT test centers are reopened, the health and safety measurement of the test takers and the staff are the most important. Few health and safety measures that have been introduced at the GMAT test center are as following
- Enhanced cleaning
- Complete sanitization
- Hand sanitizers
- Wipes
- Social distancing
Apart from these safety measures, candidates have to wear a face mask inside the test center throughout the GMAT exam.
Steps to Book GMAT Test Centers

- Click on ‘Find Test Location’ option

- A list of all the test centers available in the selected country will be shown. As per candidate’s flexibility, he/she can choose up to 3 test centers.
- A calendar will appear on the screen showing the available dates corresponding to that center
- Choose date and center as per your convenience.
Checking GMAT Exam Centers in India
There are several guidelines that applicants should follow while visiting the GMAT exam centers. These are some key policies that you need to be aware of because if a candidate breaches any of them, the GMAC may cancel his or her results. Whether at GMAT test centers in Mumbai or GMAT test centers in Bangalore, one must always follow the rules and restrictions established by their exam facility.
- Identity Documents: Make sure you have correct identification with you. Passport is accepted by Indian GMAT test centers for identification verification.
- Letter/Email Confirmation of Appointment: Provide the letter of acceptance/confirmation that you received from the test center.
- College/Course List: You may bring a list of names of universities/programs to which you would want to submit your GMAT results after accepting them.
- Arrive Early: It is usually preferable to arrive at the exam center early in order to have time to relax. Attempt to arrive 30 minutes before the planned GMAT time.

You can select your GMAT test center on the availability of GMAT Exam Dates and Centers as shown in the calendar during the selection. The exam center in Assam is located at Assam Don Bosco University. Assam Don Bosco University has become the only GMAT Test Center in the North East region. The test center is located at the Azara Campus of the University, Airport Road, Guwahati.
Before starting the exam, the GMAT Test center rules are as follows - You have to bring identification proof, a palm vein scan needs to be done, and you need to provide a digital signature in agreement with the rules and regulations as mentioned by GMAC, and take a digital photograph.
