Fees and Financial Aid

i purpused masters in clinical psychology amity university noida, the total course fee was approx 3.5 lakhs. in the first year i paid 1.75 lakhs which included tution fee , lab fee and refundable security money. My second year of masters total fee was 1.75 lakh aswell . for reserved categories like ST,SC,OBC the fee is usually low often under 10,000 per year. Scholarships are available , amity provides merit based scholarships with 100% tution fee and wavier for students with 93% in class 12 and 90% in graduation. some of my batchmates availed that support based on financial and merit needs. althought mess and hostel fees are seperate and cost around 80,000

Faculty

the faculty at student ratio at amity university was 1.20 allowing for decend interaction and mentorship. most faculty members were approachable especially you can reach out to garima srivastav for any guidance related to psychology background. the course stucture includes, cbt,dbt, psychometric approaches, which includes 2 semesters per year in the course of 2 years of masters. 30% are internal and 70% is wrriten.

Course Curriculum Overview

I expected more from the college as it is connected to its own hospital , initally i though i will get good feild exposure but i did not get to work and even obseration in hospital overall the curriculum was fine but not worth it.

1lac + I have not opted for any scholarship but the college do have some scheme. The complete course is of about two and half lakh rupees. I am not sure but the fees get revised every year as per required.

Every semester ypur subjects will be changed and you get an opportunity to study a wide range of subjects within psychology . All the major feilds in psychology were taught to us in depth so that i knew by the end that which feild is right for me . The teaching is done through freshh ppt sildes modules and authetic books . Like examples and creative ways to teach is generated by the teachers . They exam level is appropriate to scratch your head a bit and get the answers the right amount of efforts .

Lovely professional university haa given me the best 2 years with multiple career opportunities and growth. The fee for 1 year after scholarships for masters in clinical psychology is - 50000 . You can easily apply for Lpu nest and will get 40-50% of scholarship. The university is very particular about academics as well as co- curricular activities. You also get financial support if you wanna start a startup business. One of the Top universities in india .

Come only if you can do it.

This for MA counseling psychology, since there was no option coming there for particular course I selected clinical psychology. However here is the breakdown. 1st semester: 86000 + 20000(security) = 106000 2nd sem: 86000 3rd sem: 90500 4th sem: 90500 Registeration form fees is Rs. 1500 Despite that no other charges. Martyr's Scholarship is there in which 100% scholarship will be given to the students in deceased attained martyrdom must be in line of duty. - Army - Navy - Air Force - Assam Rifles - Special Frontier Force - Indian Coast Gaurd - CRPF - BSF - ITBP - CISF - SSB - State Police Otherwise if you are going to do bachelors then who have scored above 90% get scholarship accordingly. I got 60% in my bachelors from amity as I scored 96.5%. Also for masters I am getting 100%, since i Scored 96.5% in 12th and above 80% in bachelors.

Faculty is genuinely very less right now maybe because the working conditions but whatever and whoever is teaching they are teaching really well! About the exams, they are pretty medium level, be attentive while the teacher is teaching since mostly if you attend classes well enough and listen, you ll be 80% prepared for exams. Alongside, pattern is easy there are not sets however checking is done on the basis of relative marking. Usually 60-70 marks papers are there depending the PAPER aka subject. Otherwise it's easy.

Campus Life

There are alot of clubs in sharda ...tell your talent and there is a club for it in sharda...there are student portals ...we have feedback form for our teachers , In sports there is badminton, football, basketball, and many more ....swimming pool is not there though which is a bad thing????

I have not taken any campus employment so far but this mostly depends on your capabilities and capacity as well as needs. There is a scheme known as earn while learn that students have to complete as part of their CAs so a lot of them put up food stalls, game stalls or find interesting ways to earn along with ensuring it is related to their field.

Ums (University Management System) is a student portal they provide. A lot of social groups and clubs run within the university such as for dance, singing (Indian, classical, western), NCC & NSS. There are also Anime groups. A lot of sports such as archery, swimming, cricket, football etc are taught within the campus

Though, the course is very expensive, but its really worth it. The placement of my course is very in the college and also it provides great opportunities for the students. Working in clinical setting and hospital like max.

Navigating Academia- at Amity university

During my course period, I Found very good teachers who also provided us with a complete set of notes as well as made sure to cover the syllabus or any doubts a student would have. I have personally gone to faculties for feedback or for more understanding of a topic and they have always entertained my concern and kept it at its priority. Some teachers also are in touch through Whatsapp so they reply immediately or guide me through calls. I have also received Practical experience in my classroom of counseling techniques as well as role plays. they also give us presentations to present which makes us deliverable, presentable and confident. My decision was highly based on the curriculum provied by Amity University. I was also interested in the specialization subjects of my interest.A well rounded curriculum that covers the topic in depth and aligns with my career goals as well. Evrything to know in short about MSUB!

The M.A. Psychology (clinical) and for other specializations too the course structure is very well defined. The made the choice for this as i found the in semester internships very useful as a master student. Each semester there are 6 subjects in which one is of internship. Also there are dissertation, testing etc facilities available. The faculty is well qualified and have great teaching methods including presentations, seminars, case studies etc. The faculty student ratio is 40:1 and less. The examination pattern is a mid semester exam and end semester. Students who are regular can easily pass the exams with good efforts.

Placement Experience

Placements do come and most likely to take master students, but also if bachelor's want to opt placement they can be it on or off campus. There's are good CTC provided and for a fresher it can be good start in the professional world. The highest package can go to 8 or 9 LPA to average 5LPA. Almost 90% to 95% students get placed. I would also like to sit for placements in coming year.

Review of masters in TIET

Faculty of the institution is very good. Most faculty members are highly educated and qualified with a strong base in reserach. The student to faculty ratio is also good there are enough faculties to teach a batch of about 50 students. The exams although taken timely feel a bit rushed and the confirmation of syllabus comes at the last minute.

There are various clubs which cater to varied interest but are not available for students pursuing masters or higher degrees. Events are frequent and well organised and very fun. The library is also very big and easy to access the university provides access to various academic journals as well.

One of my chapter

I wish to help other people who need mental help , care and support. Faculty is also very supportive and the classes are early catchable. Student Ratio is easy to handle. They have high qualifications and the teaching is good. Exams were taken little bit late but it is easy .

Psychology fest and dept fest are conducted . Majority of the books are available but some are not. Classrooms are good and comfortable. College is encrouging sports and activities . There are music club , nature club ect.

Pros and Cons of This university

I chose this course because I had always been interested in human behavior and severe mental disorders, and had a keen passion to help and treat people suffering from trauma. The faculty-student ratio can be approximately 1:10. Faculties are highly qualified and have excelled in their particular fields. The teaching method, however, can be a bit improved. The exams were timely, and if the material is studied, thoroughly, passing is not that difficult.

The fee for this particular course is 78,000. Scholarship can be attained after reaching 90-95%. Financial assistance is provided, however, details can be disclosed by the authorities responsible for the same. The college provides campus placements, and for this particular course, the stipend offered was 20-25k, annually.

The course curriculum and faculty members are excellent. I chose this course because psychology has always attracted me with its theories and therapies. Becoming a psychologist I would want to help others live their lives happily. In this university student faculty ratio is excellent and the faculty member can look up to each and every student. Faculty members are excellent and well-educated and thorough with their subjects. their teaching methods help us to motivate ourselves more. The exam pattern is semester-wise. Psychology can get difficult but regular practice helps you crack the exam with ease.

The exact cost will depend on the factor of the program of study, level of study and the duration of the course. Royal global university is one of the top universities with the best infrastructure in the entire north east words can't describe how well it is built. All the campus is beautiful and the landscaping were perfectly done no more importantly its clean and hygienic. They food court and cafeteria are clean and hygienic also they provide the best food. The classrooms and hostel are all air-conditioned. All curriculum activities are conducted in a professional way.

During my time of stay in university the admission fee was 46000 and the semester fee was 35000. And also the university provides scholarships to students who score more than 80 per cent in the previous institute. And also the job placement is quite good as the best students get 100 per cent placements at different companies. Satisfactory with the university placement.

Journey to enhance one's personality

The curriculum is vast and provides good information regarding the scope of this field. They provide good lectures and seminars. The student ratio is 75:1 and I think it is a bit bigger ratio and can have different sections and not such crowded spaces. The faculty is qualified and have great years of experience. They provide good opportunities and exposure for the same.

The fee structure I think is a bit expensive. But the department provides scholarship facilities for the top scorers. They consider delays in finances and payments. Different timelines are set for those who cannot afford exact-date payments.

The fee was high i.e. 40000 per Month. I got a job as a psychologist on campus at this college. The Financial Assistant's name was Sangeeta Sharma. I realise it very well. I like this college very much. You have to pay a fee before the 10 dates of every month.

There are so many books and journals in the library. There are several games like basketball, football, and Tennis. There was a social club with the name 'CU' which was managed by the head boy of that club. It was good and Aggressive.

My college experience

There are many fests in university. Every single cultural festival of the country, like Holi and Diwali, is also celebrated. It is celebrated with huge success and enthusiasm. There are also fests and magazines for each subject. In the library, there are lakhs of books from each domain. Classroom s are very posh and clean , with air conditioning in every class. There are a lot of opportunities to grow socially and develop academically here. A lot of emphases is put on the overall development of the students. There are various social groups, clubs and committees for art, literature, music, etc. All of the clubs and committees on both the university as well as the organisational levels are very very active. It is really fun to be here at this University.

A form is circulated at the very beginning of the course which is about - if we want college placements or wish to continue with higher studies or want help to start with our own venture. Students can select only one of either of these options and the same is taken into consideration in the final year. Each of these options has a special committee set up, so the outcomes are effective. However, in placement, once a company offers the candidate a job then he/she cannot opt for another job opportunity. There are detailed briefings about each job opportunities and we can choose if we want to apply for it or no. Almost everyone gets the placement here (whoever applies for it). For absolute freshers, salary ranges from 2 LPA up to even 8 LPA or even more.

Be practical and worthey before choosing

So the curriculum is really vast, you'll learn various disciplines under your course curriculum. Along with the major core subjects there are various options to choose from. Moreover a good thing is that you'll get three degrees along with your main degree those areof communication skills, behavioural sciences and foreign language (that you have learnt during your course period). Exam pattern is fine, 70:30 is followed, 70 marks external exam with essay type answers.

Admission

So amity provides post graduate in Psychology even if you're from other background too in graduation. And the time to apply is really long so if you're waiting for the results of your other colleges amity will still be opened for you. There's a minimum requirement of 50% during graduation. So if you're not a merit student, you have to give an entrance test following an interview. You'll get your results within a week.
