Navigating Academia- at Amity university

My decision was highly based on the curriculum provied by Amity University. I was also interested in the specialization subjects of my interest.A well rounded curriculum that covers the topic in depth and aligns with my career goals as well. The expertise faculty memebers delivering the content and their ability to contextualize theretical knowledge with real-world applications significantly impact the overall learning experience of an individual. It also went beyonf the curriculum since we were assigned to do Internships from the start of our course SEM 1,2,3 It was compulsory to do internship, write your weekly progress as well as a submit a full hard copy of your report and a viva is then taken.Assements methods included oral examination, presentation and class assment as well. We contacted the seniors to get a list of the organizations they did internship. Also our faculty have apoint of contact or refrence which is hared with us and we all register depending on the interst and convenience. I feel lInkdien is a very helpful way i got lost of my internship through linkdin research also asking people of their experience was a big help. But usually it gets easir after 1st sem. Its just difficult to cope in sem 1 after that you get a list since many people work in many different organizations. It is also a mandate to do dissertation ine the last semester and we all are given guides and wwe have to do it indivdually. But with guidance from peers and other professors you can sail your boat at AMITy for internships as well as projects and dissertation as it is very important in the last sem. We also had mini projects or mini presentations in each subject so as to understand the knowledge we have about the subject

So after completion of my Post Graduation degree in psychology there are many career options one can avail as per their preferences. So uptill now the campus has got 8 company all about counselor or psychologist position listed with different salary range from 2,80,000 to 4,50,000 and so on. Understanding the financial aspect of pursuing higher education is crucial for many students and families so it all depends individually. The infrastructure is well developed. the Liv=brary is automatic you can enter through your Icard and punch out through icard, As well as there is arcade room, gym , basketball, a court, playgroung, swimming as welll as dance club and singing club. there are departmental clubs as well and university clubs as well. One can join as per their own intersts and be a prt of the activities they want to. There is Amity Fest that occurs every year This year BPrakk and Raftar were invited -chaotic but super fun.There is university fresher as well as farewell and Traditional ethnic Day. Classrooms are all in better shape, projector is there as well as conference hall is there for small interactive lectures

Ac Hostel is -1,20,000 Non AC- 80,000 + Security Deposit. All registration is done online but when you come here while alloting the rooms a crosscheck happens and after that you fill a form, attach your photo and you get your room and key as well. The process is a bit of hassel as you arre unaware of how to go along but there are volunteers of hostel commitee who guides you through the process. If you want to rent a PG / room cost can be from 7000 to 20000 and more depending on the location and requirement. But near by there is whole locality of PG and food chains small vendour shops, grocery shop, stationery shop and everything just behind th college, Mall is 2km from here metro is the same

Eligibility for the cousre serves as the first checkpoint for any students.Each course may has specific criteria of pursuing a degree and specifics marks to be required. it was 55% for my course. Eligibility criterias are typically outlined on the website and everyone can check over there. When you appply for theprgram you have to fill out an application form it requires all sorts of details it also has some fee to be paid as a application form you upload you recieve an email of registering the course. Later your application is recieved and you have to go through test or online interview rounds based on the program you have taken you need to recoord it and upload it , you only get certain amount of time to do so. The process was simple there was nothing that was unlikeable or tough.There is categorty for reserved candidates or OBC/ST/SC and they can fill in their detaiils to confirm that. Each sem we have our exams and the difficulty ranges from 9/10 in most papers especially the case

During my course period, I Found very good teachers who also provided us with a complete set of notes as well as made sure to cover the syllabus or any doubts a student would have. I have personally gone to faculties for feedback or for more understanding of a topic and they have always entertained my concern and kept it at its priority. Some teachers also are in touch through Whatsapp so they reply immediately or guide me through calls. I have also received Practical experience in my classroom of counseling techniques as well as role plays. they also give us presentations to present which makes us deliverable, presentable and confident. I still remeber Positive Psychology Professor also had a outsie session practise and greet for us to discuss more. He treated the class very practically and His lessons were always very interesting.
