BTech Information Technology is a 4 year specialization of BTech course that focuses on software development. BCA and BTech IT are almost similar in the curriculum. BTech IT Syllabus contains subjects like Computer System Architecture, Object Oriented Programming, Applied Statistics, Probability, etc

BTech IT Admission in Top NITs takes place through JEE Main Exam. Students will get admission in NITs for studying BTech IT by having around 3000 in JEE Main. JEE Advanced 2024 is scheduled on June 12, 2024. The minimum marks to qualify JEE Advanced 2024 is 35% for CRL, 31.5% for OBC-NCL/ EWS and 17.5% for SC/ ST/ PwD. 

JoSAA is responsible for allocating students to different NITs depending on their marks and results. There are a total of 8 rounds cut offs. These cut offs are divided into 2 gender based categories and 11 caste-based categories.
