A little insight of the sndt university

Talking about non teaching staff yes they are rude sometimes but other then that its fine,Theres a watchman aunty who sits right outside the college she is sweet sometimes,talking about teachers they are understanding and good at their joh especially madhuri mam, there are total 2 exams per sem,1st is unit of 25 marks which usually acts as internal and then final exam for 50 marks

It has good educated teachers,whilst the fee being very under the budget i paid 25000-30000 per year for food nutrition and dietetics, there are also various scholarships available which u will be guided by the teachers of the course u choose, For the scholarship u will require caste certificate if possible or income certificate,aadhar and pan card

Internships Opportunities

According to my course i had 2 internships. One qas industry based and the other was hospital based. For the industry based internship i want to a diary industry named milma in my native and worked there for 15 days. There i studied how when and where the milk comes from. And there wr did the tests to chech the quality of the milk. This internship was done when i was in my 2nd year. Then in my 3rd yeard i am having internship in the hospital. So i went to psg hospital and worked there for around 1 month. There i studied under a main dietitan to plan a menu for a patient to calculate the daily needs. We also had an opportunity to have a conversation with the patients as well. So my internship period was really nice.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because it was a little different course from the other courses that i saw. This mainly deals with the food and the nutrition for each problems and to make the people healthy. There were a lot of job opportunities for this course alone. In that i would like to become a dietitian. If the faculties teach very nicely with a lot of practical things then this course is the best thing i would say. But my facukties taught us very less infact for our 3rd yr we barely had classes the teachrs came to our classes very rarley. So i would say the teachers to improve the teacjing skills by giving more practical knowledge other than taking the students for webinars.

Yureka is one of the biggest festivals of college and every student waits for the programs of this event.

We basically worked upon the food related companies so our studies also completely based upon the food industries. Internship in hospital

Internship at St. Johns Medical College Hospital, Bangalore. During my internship of one month, I learned how a dietary department runs in a hospital setup. I learned how to plan meals for patients with different ailments. I would visit various wards along with a senior dietician. I would explain to the people about a balanced diet. I would also coordinate with specialist doctors to prepare meal plans for patients with special needs and requirements.

Annual cultural and tech fests are held from time to time. Education and field trips are conducted at regular intervals. The library is vast and contains a number of books and CDs for reference. Classrooms have white boards and regular black boards. The benches are comfortable and convenient. Annual sports meet is held. State-level and national-level sports competitions are held.

Review of avinashilingam university

Every year culturals are conducted and every student is given equal opportunities. They are mostly conducted in October. The library consists of every book which is needed by students. There are several books categorized according to their subjects. Sports are given major importance and many extracurricular activities are conducted on various topics or subjects. Several clubs in the college are actively taken care of by students.

I developed a sudden interest in the course and wanted to opt for it The faculty ratio is equal to maintain the ratio of the students. This course is a single course and my favorite course, student and teacher ratio is 100:1. Qualification of faculty is minimum Net pass, in one year one-time exam, some difficulty to pass the exam, the teaching method is good.

Campus life is very enjoyful life, every month some special cultural program is organized, many types and many languages books are available in the library, sports circular activities and the pt teacher is also a good person.

The course curriculum is standard and faculty members are friendly with us and have well-talented faculty. The relationship between the students and faculty has excellent communication. The qualifications for faculty are to pass TET and SLET.

The college has Aided and self-finance. For Aided students, the fee is 13000, and for self-finance students, the fee is 35000. There are government scholarships and department scholarships. This helps us to pay the fees.

IT WAS AVERAGE

Totally average and not much helpful. There were 60 students in my class. It is on luck few teachers were excellent like one sir rest were too busy. Too much attitude and not explaining or repeating concepts. So don't depend on teachers yes connection with them is helpful, Study Yourself.

The fee was good, earlier it was around 20000 later increased to 30000 because many new labs, apparatus, college building etc were developed so it was taken somewhat from students' pocket too. But overall it was quite affordable and a positive for middle-low class people.

75000 per year and we can pay term wise and also scholarship is available. Merit scholarship, In your third year, you will get the chance to attend the placement interviews, which were very useful and everyone gets the chance.

There are a lot of events and every week there are two practical sessions, industrial exposure, etc. There are two sports meet yearly, and a lot of curricular activities such as seminars, group discussions, and question hours.

The course is for 3 years and third year you will have 6 months of training there you can get a job otherwise college will provide a job. We can also plan for MSC and India and also aboard. The percentage is not important for placements skill and nd talent is considered.

Many events and fests are conducted which will recreate the students and bring new ideas for the students. And every month you will have at least 3 events and N no. Of practicals will be held. College hub will be there.

The faculty members are great and very supportive to the students and if we talk about the ratio it would be around 100:1, later on, talking about the faculty qualification they all are well trained and very knowledgeable in terms of the needs of students.

The fee structure is very aggressively low as compared to other universities and colleges here. one can also avail of state government scholarship based on the performance in the main examination. so overall budget-friendly fee structure.

I am fully satisfied with course and college

I want to become an doctor but with some issues I didn't reached my goal that time came to know about the this course which partially full filled my dream . faculties are very friendly and helpful. We will have 6 semester and 12 mid exams which helps us to attend the semester easily.

Last 6months we will do internship where we did our intern there itself we can get job in case campus will provide placement. Job packing and everything will decide on the student skill and knowledge . Package will not depend on percentage, will depend on skill.
