BSc Food Science and Nutrition Course, Top Colleges, Syllabus, Scope and Salary 2024

There are basically two main festivals ,the culturals and avega fest ,it also includes celebration like teachers day, christmas ,onam, navratri,etc... The library is huge ,the building has five floors which contains books on each department of the college, working system with books and computer for PhD students , journals, thesis etc . The technology is good every class room gas projector , smart board in some classes . Computers in lab. Oven,chamber in nutrition lab etc..everyclass room gas fans and lights . The classroom are cleaned by staffs every day. Extracurricular activities of the college is very good,there are NCC,NSS, and sports each one has their own benefit,for sports they allow competitions,marathons etc,even state level s,in NSS camps, cleaning , volunteering will take place,NCC they have camps , drills ,duties etc.. There are many clubs run by students on dancing, singing, essay writing etc they will be mostly active during festival times ,there are portals that allows students to write journals,poems etc which improves their confidence.

The curriculum is relavant to the coarse,iam a nutrition student and I came to study abot nutrition,but I have also learnt about microbiology, food evaluation,food making,food safety rules,food entrepreneurship etcc which increases the variety of opportunities based to the course. Iam happy that iam learning about diet planning which is why I chooses this course. It really helps in real world opportunities as they allow intership s,practicals,practices, competition etc.. The area it needs improvement is the language skills of the professors as there are other states students there some people cannot understand tamil so they have to teach intwo languages. The timings of exams is not that bad there is one and half month gap between exams.

Yearly fees structure is 27000 it includes the all scholar activities.other non scholarist activity were not included into it. The scholarship only deals with sc or St caste students. This fees is totally refundable to them .

Campus is big and full of environment. it is surrounded with plants , flower, bird which significant to interlink with environment. Sports room is in the campus and full of equipment are available for the students

There is a sports week called udgosh every November and there are many sports u can participate there is singing dancing cooking and ghazal nights also so they programs are often very nicely done and intresting All the course book help book are available along with media library where u can use computers We are taught through projectors and they are very good working There are other debate and quizzes nukkad natak and fate things goes in in college every month to celebrate various medical related days There are literary magazine club which helps student to get their work published in era magazine

For pharma students there are many internship company comes for recruitment like Apollo and for BA liberal Flipkart came for recruitment and many such other company For food science u can get internship in many food related companies and as dietician Era university provide internship to the students .there is a ECTRA IN ERA university an organisation which help with starts up and they assist you with your idea

Our college conducts cultural activities, and celebrates almost every festivals like kannada rajyotsava, etc. Our college conducts rallies and raise voice against anything that is going wrong, we did a silent rally for a rape case happend recently in india. We have a student portal where we are able to see all our attendance, the calsses we attend, the classes we miss, our fess paid, remaining fees etc . We have a cell that helps any problems faced by students, both male and female students.

Teachers make our subject really intresting by giving new activities realted to our subjects and show new ways of learning. Inqas influenced to take this subject by my old teachers. They make us do presentations, acts that make us more confident. They can make improvements by keeping good teachers who have proper knowledge of the subject and are confident to teach in front of students

Talking about non teaching staff yes they are rude sometimes but other then that its fine,Theres a watchman aunty who sits right outside the college she is sweet sometimes,talking about teachers they are understanding and good at their joh especially madhuri mam, there are total 2 exams per sem,1st is unit of 25 marks which usually acts as internal and then final exam for 50 marks

It has good educated teachers,whilst the fee being very under the budget i paid 25000-30000 per year for food nutrition and dietetics, there are also various scholarships available which u will be guided by the teachers of the course u choose, For the scholarship u will require caste certificate if possible or income certificate,aadhar and pan card

The faculty members was very much counsious about the decipline of the students. They help their students to bring out their creativity and helps to value their education and skills and also they help to showcase their talents. Faculty members was friendly towards students and so that students can ask any help regarding anything.

Our college fees in our department are nearly 30 thousand. Fees may vary based on our course. In our college, we get our scholarships based on our Community. If we can't pay fees as a single payment then you can surely pay it later.

Sports and games are also available in our college. It develops the students holistically. We can also join our sports group online. They enhance the personality of individuals by imparting various traits to them.
