Course Curriculum Overview

Teaching methods are extremely good. Practical classes are taken with high-quality equipment. Internship facilities are also provided. PPT explaining format is also included for a better understanding of the subject.

CFTRI, KMF many food industries will be in search of candidates from this department. The recommended course here is Food Science and nutrition which is in trend now. Have good scope and future who completes the course.

Placement Experience

No campus placements are given in this course. After completing a BSc she or he should put application in different colleges to get a seat for an Msc, if they want to continue thier studies to become a dietitian, food inspector, CFTRI, food industries, etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are two schemes for paying fees. For those who get a seat in scheme A - the total fee per year is 10562 rs. and for those who get a seat in scheme B - the total fee is 35500rs per year. Extra fees for every sem exam are around 1600rs per semester.

The talent search program is the one that searches different talents of our college students by conducting the competition around 50 competitions will be held. Yureka is one of the biggest festivals of college and every student waits for the programs of this event.

Eligibility to join the course is he/ she should complete 2nd puc in science combination PCMB. The application should be uploaded in the uucms login and there are no application fees. Admissions are directly called by the college through the mail.

At St Aloysius University, students typically become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester onward. My honest review: College life, curriculum and career preparation

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate it around 8/10 for relevance and comprehensiveness. I chose this course because it offered solid foundational subjects that aligned with my interests. The curriculum prepares students well for higher studies and provides decent exposure to lab techniques. However, for real world readiness, it could be improved. Teaching methods are mostly theory-heavy and would benefit from interactive approaches. Exams are moderately difficult and conceptual clarity and regular revision helps in scoring well.

I have applied for st Joseph's University Bangalore and yuvaraja's college Mysore.
