Fees and Financial Aid

My university fee structure is simple as it includes 10200 per sem for online distance courses including b Com bba etc and yearly it sum up to 20400 the first admission fee is 11200 no hidden charges included and the rest for the 5 semesters are 10200 per sem in which there are no hidden charges which I consider is basic for students who suffer financially but there is only one problem. In delaying exams and notices rather than that everything seems affordable to me

Faculty

There are 2 staff members alloted for every 60 students which is considerable good and they response accordingly the exam structure of kuk is bit difficult their marking schemes are preety tight they take care of even a small mistake we make exams happen twice a year and test and assignment happens regularly which is a good they can be better by engaging with students more technically their is a age gap in university between students and teachers

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fee structure is 5 lakhs i.e 2.5 lakhs per semester and this is inclusive of hostel fees i.e 1.5 lakhs yearly. Initially the hostel fees was 1.3 lakhs but from third semester it increased. 1.5 lakhs is for tripple sharing hostel. The university provides scholarship based on you percentage in top 4 major subjects. More percentage means more scholarship. The scholarship starts from 20 percent for percentage of 75 and goes till 100 percent but you have to maintain the CGPA of 7 (varies from year to year and course to course, it can be low or more for other course or different year) otherwise you will loose your scholarship. Seats are based on first come and first serve. Sometimes interviews are also held for admissions and scholarship for single girl child is also provided

Campus Life

The annual festival is known as Uphoria which is technically held between February and March. There are variety of books and journals provided in library for students. The books are also updated by the faculty whenever needed. There are smart boards in every class to make it easy to learn. The sports department is maintained properly with required equipments and all type of clubs like for western dance, classical dance, art club , gaming clubs, etc are there. Different societies are also there. The work load from club and society is very high and can increase during some fests or events which might effect student personal life

My overall experience with campus life was good there were many festivals held in college like the youth festival and many other programs on different festivals like teacher's day freshers farewell Holi Diwali navratri annual function and etc. There are many types of books available in the library like story books gk books course books and so on There are not digital board in class but there is computer lab in the college for the student. The sports and extracurricular activities offered in campus and very enthusiastic and all students get chance to participate in these activities There is no group like clubs or student portals

Faculty

The faculty to student relationship is too good the teachers help the students very much like If the students are living out of town they can only come to give exams if. The are preparing for competitive exams and living outside the city. There are so many good teachers they are like friends and help the students. There are 3 types of exams are there first CCE then preannual then annual exam the difficulty of exam is medium if you will study you will think the exam is easy and if you don't it seems to be difficult. Many students fail to clear exams as they don't study

Faculty

The mass communication and Video Production department has to be the best faculty in the college with many event handling and organising opportunities the whole experience and the fun for attending college on a regular basis makes the overall college experience much better. the Faculty has enough teachers to handle the given amount of Students with a minimum 2 teachers for a particular Subject or topic. Also, the failing rate is very low as Projects and Internal, as well as external marks, make it easy for everyone to pass. Also, the only faculty at my time in college was a bit unliked was B.Com hons because of there odd timings of classes

Campus Life

Campus was pretty fun as they had multiple activities to do and being a college the freedom of attending classes or Going on with other cultural programmes was fairly common. There is a Gym in the college campus. Most of the time our Department Students used to spend in a common room specially provided to Mass Comm Students. The classes were equipped with Projectors and Speakers also the they were never Shy on using air conditioning in the Summers.

Fees and Financial Aid

The 1st year fees for BA was 10000 per year which decreased to 8000 in 2nd year and 7500 in 3rd year There was no other fee like developmental fees or caution fees etc. The security amount was 200 rupees. The backward class students got scholarships based on different governmental schemes. It was approximately 5000 rupees per year to be applied in 1st year. The economically backward students also got this scholarship after applying successfully. Like my classmate Ankush and Reena were from SC and EWS categories respectively, they used to get 5000 per year from government as scholarship. They had to pay the full fee amount after which 5000 was refunded in their bank accounts. There was also merit cum need scholarships provided to rankers that was approximately 2000.

Faculty

Faculty to students ratio was good that was 1:25.The faculty to students relationship is also awesome and the faculties are quite approachable, students can ask their doubts any time they want to. I liked Dr.Anjali Kura Mam who taught us English, she explained everything in so detail and interesting way that students always enjoyed her class.I also liked Mr.Suraj Walia Sir who taught us economics, his method of teaching was marvelous. Tests were quite regular like thrice a month and Exams were conducted twice a year as term 1 and term 2 .The level of exams was mediocre but still 6-7% students failed in exams who had to go for reappear The course curriculum was too relevant.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am a student who is pursuing BA Mass communication and journalism in Ansar Women's College Perumpilavu. I have been paying 25,000 in the first year and both in second and third year I have paid 22,365. We have told to pay other tution fee, union fee, sports fee and lab fee etc. even though there is no use of it. Mostly all fee are the same for both management and merit students in this college. There is also financial aid which is provided to particular students. About the fees of my batchmates are the same and if we have any financial issues they may consider after looking out the reason. Mostly, they will offer some extra time to pay the fees.

Campus Life

In our college we have several clubs and cells which have a variety of activities and programs but the thing is that because of the college environment many of them are not willing to participate. And also many of the clubs and cells are not much active nowadays. Still we have many clubs and cells where there are many members. We also have few college program like arts and sports but no much technical support from the college

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio is okay. And most of the teachers are approachable and have a good relationship with their students but few of them arent that good and not approachable, some of the teachers are very rude and not proff and at all. I liked my HOD her name is bindu ma'am she is very approachable and i dont like a few teachers thag i would prefer not mentioning because they bully students and they think they are disciplining them but it is not true. There are 3 exams in every semester, they are mid semester-1 exam and mid semester- 2 exam and last final exam, which is pretty easy and not a lot of students fail in the exam but there are few who fail.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am currently pursuing a bachelor of arts in mass communication in loyola academy, old alwal. The annual fees for my course are 84000. while i understand that the fees are subject to change, i am concerned that the fees have increased significantly over the past few years. Our seniors were paying a significantly lower amount so the sudden increase has put a strain on my and my classmates. The whole fees including the tuition fees, resgistration fees, caution fees and other charges is 84,887. I think the fees for my batchmates is the same too, there are no scholarships or placements for my course but there are are placements and scholarships for other courses.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum and the syllabus is well prepared and it is up to date because since this is a media course and everything has to be studied on the up to date notices. There are no textbooks so that you get to learn with digital media and get updated with all the happenings including the current affairs in the world.

Faculty

There is a positive relationship between the faculty as well as the students and the faculties are really supportive in finding internships also clears the doubts whenever asked. The exams are usually not so hard but quite tricky and application based because of the practical experience that we get.

That college isn't that much good space is not there and they just don't think about us I want to share my experience they just ignore us like whatever the thing is I don't know but in this college where I am studying time is not good because which college starts at 7? And why is this so ? After this they don't conduct anything cultural events etc and all no farwell no freshers nothing not even a single party there or some events there I don't know where I just got this college and i get to know about later that it's a government college coming under shivaji society and i just want to share that my experience was worst because I am from norther side and they always speaks Marathi which I am not getting ..I told them and they just ignored and asked me to adjust.. why is this so? Is that a college or what? I have the worst experience for this college

Course Curriculum Overview

Courses they have a lot of courses but they don't have any of the courses like with honours and they just have major and minor subject and they don't even have anything like new new invention they are testing on students like vsc new subject iks new subject OE new subject major minor new subject they have a lot of subject but every subject is waste of time .. teaching method is worst because they still teach through black boards and they don't even tell us what they are teaching they just come and tell about a topic and then started reading it and then class ends before it's time .
