Campus Life

Campus was pretty fun as they had multiple activities to do and being a college the freedom of attending classes or Going on with other cultural programmes was fairly common. There is a Gym in the college campus. Most of the time our Department Students used to spend in a common room specially provided to Mass Comm Students. The classes were equipped with Projectors and Speakers also the they were never Shy on using air conditioning in the Summers.

Admission

The most important factor was the affordability compared to other colleges including within-state colleges as well as Inter-State colleges. Also, the Faculty was very inclusive as I took last-minute admissions and they were happy to take me in. The admission process was fairly easy they took the mandatory marksheets of Std 10th and 12th also the Aadhar Card and Parental Details and the fees were paid in Cash. Later after the payments I was provided with the prospectus and Other Information. The later day as I was in Covid batch I was invited to a college group and was provided with notes and insights on what did I miss as the classes had already started

Faculty

4

The mass communication and Video Production department has to be the best faculty in the college with many event handling and organising opportunities the whole experience and the fun for attending college on a regular basis makes the overall college experience much better. the Faculty has enough teachers to handle the given amount of Students with a minimum 2 teachers for a particular Subject or topic. Also, the failing rate is very low as Projects and Internal, as well as external marks, make it easy for everyone to pass. Also, the only faculty at my time in college was a bit unliked was B.Com hons because of there odd timings of classes

Night Life

Gym was available in college campus. The Canteen or Cafeteria had enough good items to go through and it was pretty affordable as well. Hygeine was fairly good and the canteen hours was up till 10 A.M to 4 P.M . The college campus is situated near The Tata Steel and was very Safe as we had a Police Station just around the corner

Placement Experience:

If the course duration is three years i.e. 6 semesters, then the college placement team gives an internship opportunity in the fifth semester with various companies and organizations. Very few companies have visited to date as the university is not very much experienced in terms of growth. In short, placements are not that much up to the mark. After getting the degree, most of the students opt for higher studies or work in startups in very small packages.
