Likes

The infrastructure of the college is very good .
The sports ground of the college is very good and every now and then state matches are played
The faculties are friendly and very knowledgeable.

Dislikes

Too crowded cafeteria and there is shortage of rooms for various departments.
Internet connection is very poor .buffering is a common issue.
The fees department behaves very bad at the time of fee submission.

I always wanted to become a media reporter and focus on the various outrages and issues of the society.this influenced me to take this decision of opting bjmc. Our college takes us to various sites and rural areas nearby for real time practice of the course.

Class Size: 12Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure for a 3 year program is cheap here .it is 1.75 lakhs. If we include hostel and other charges .it can touch upto 4 lakh. Still this is cheap in comparison to other courses and colleges.

Campus Life

My overall experience in this college is pretty good. Recently a sports event and annual fest was organised where a singer was called for the concert. There is facilities like library and e library to avail books.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel charge for 3 seater is 45000 for 6 months and for 4 seater is 40000. A big window and curtains , cleaning is regularly done and the water facility is also good.geyser is also there and water cooler for drinking water.

Hostel Fee: INR 90000 per year

Admission

The course of Bjmc can be pursued by any student of any background arts commerce science. The minimum marks in +2 should be 50 or above.The application form is available on the official website and costs rs 500.

As there is many different Big companies for placements like TCS Tata consultancy services, Wipro, CEAT, Jagran, etc. There are around 50 + companies for each courses. For sitting in the placements you have to pass in every subject of each semester. Around 80% of student get campus placement. My plans after getting The Bachelors degree in journalism and Mass Communication I will pursue for Masters degree in journalism and Mass Communication.

The bright future college

Placement Experience:

From semesters 5 and 6 students become eligible for the semester. Many companies visit for placement. Right now I am in my first year so didn't have experience of companies visit. The package is given in heavy amounts more than 10 lakh is given per annum and the average is 5 lakh. The percentage of the students would be 98 or 99. My plans after getting the degree are to have a good placement and a well-settled job

Poor Internship Opportunities

Placement Experience:

If the course duration is three years i.e. 6 semesters, then the college placement team gives an internship opportunity in the fifth semester with various companies and organizations. Very few companies have visited to date as the university is not very much experienced in terms of growth. In short, placements are not that much up to the mark. After getting the degree, most of the students opt for higher studies or work in startups in very small packages.

I applied on various government colleges like BHU ,OUAT And various private colleges like Netaji Subhash university, jamshedpur . In BHU the eligibility criteria for taking agriculture was to have maths in higher secondary and I was not having that In ouat the counselling process was very late.
