My college journey

As in school time my teacher gave us career guidance from which i influence and set a goal to become a software Engineer so I persuaded diploma in computer science and selected Usha Martin University as the fees is low in compare to another college in Ranchi. This college enhances your practical as well as theoretical knowledge but as a computer science student you are not too lucky to visit for industry tour. The only drawback in this course is this only. The examinations which are held here and the difficulty level depends on the facilities that how much you are friendly with them. But in computer science you have to study hard in all subjects

For the internship as i mentioned before this college don't provide any internship opportunities only for some few department internship is being rolled out other wise for internship you have to find your own and only thing college do is sign in your internship letter. Project will held after internship.

After 5 th semester students are eligible for the placement company visit the college during placement session. Before the company interview round there is interview round by college. About 20 company visit for placement for different job roles. Average package is 2 lakh and highest goes to 5 lakhs per annum. The percentage I'm not sure but about 50-60 % students are placed. My plans after diploma is for higher studies

Tuition fees of my course as a middle class it is somewhat high. The average hike of tuition fees is about 5k yearly. Apart from tuition fees they will charge many fees like security money, training and placement fees , exam fee , bus fee is somewhat high. As a general student I don't get any type of scholarship but I know that scholarship is given to students including st, sc, obc. At the time of admission they will ensure you that they will give you 100% placement but it is not true ya placement are coming but only for few. They also provide job in their campus itself.and one last thing you have to pay for doing internship and you don't get any stipends

The experience with campus life is like ok ok. The annual fest happens once a year named ushma and some technical festival also held by each department every month. There is no theatre in campus all programs happens in ground. Almost all books are available in library which you are enrolled in. Classroom has smart board but only in some classes. No air conditioner in class and in hot you can't survive there. Sports department are not so active in college campus not have their own ground to play cricket. The one ground is of BCCI. And you are not allowed to play there. Not knowledge about social groups or clubs.

You can apply for this course after 10th or after 12th. There are no entrance exam only you have to submit admission fees and some paper work that's all. You can apply for admission online but for fee submission you to visit branch or campus . You will get 10% instant scholarship if your aadhaar card address is of jharkhand. Exams are taken every semester. Fir name it is 6 months but the semester are of 4 months only.No problem in exams. No improvements it all ok in admission process

The faculty in my college are very intelligent,honest and possessive except 2-3. They helps you understand the topic in very easy way by providing real life examples that you grasp it without any effort and if you don't understand they will also take some special classes e.g doubt session. As a teacher but also as a friend they understand you and help you in all possible ways. In case having issues you can directly go to their cabins to solve it
