- Mostly teachers are professor there and doctors they are really supportive i still remember dr taneja sir how friendly he's with students and the way he taught us was amazing teaching things with practical examples is amazing
- The crowd of dav college is really very great so the vibe of the college is really amazing
- You can also join for ncc and nss. and it can be beneficial during post graduate admissions.

- No placement no internship no guidance was provided by teachers
- In brutal summer there is need for air conditioners.

I choose bachelor of arts because it has good scope in future.some students are day scholar and some live in college hostels.teaching method is good.We had exams after 3 months.it is difficult to pass if you study you pass

There are a possibility of campus placement but in my course there are less pay.So we have to do masters or preparation for government exams after graduation.AFTER Completing bachelor of arts we are eligible for so many exams.sl majority students do that.

The crowd of the college is very good and you'll find a lot of people who have similar interests. There are many societies in the college and they provide great experience for future.
The staff is moderate. Some teachers are highly professional but there'll be some subject which you have do on your own.

- Infrastructure is good enough having alot classes and sections for each courses and also there are almost 4 to 5 canteens, teleo auditoriums, basketball court, cricket stadium, etc.
- Fest are conducted almost in every month's in the college and many other activities so that each and every child should take part.
- Faculties of college are good,friendly and intellectual having good knowledge of their particular subjects.

I completed my 12th through commerce stream and want to pursue CA as a profession, so that's why I chose BCom for graduation. The faculties of my college are superb and the student ratio is quite high. The syllabus is completed on time and after completion of the syllabus, we have MST and finals.

- College buliding is virtuous which I like the most.
- Teachers are very helping in nature , and soft speaker's.
- Students are cooperative, as students belong from different states.
Dislikes
- Cctv camera should be updated in each and every class.
- Smart classes should be provided to students in every class.
Placement Experience:
The placement of our college is good, as we have talked to our seniors and read in the news. So we got the right update about it, and placement will be good in the future as our college is under Punjab University. All the exams and syllabus are done under the Punjab University.

- Happy to be a part of DAV. The commerce and science departments are having good buildings as compare to B.A department.
- Free wifi in limited area of college campus. library and open grounds are the best part of the college.
Dislikes
- Coming to the cons- Attendance is not taken seriously, they take up a few hundred bucks at the end of the year and let go of those who don't even attend one single class (they will take down my review I am sure). Yes, this is very prevalent here
- Not enough coaches to train one in any field if one wants to start from scratch. You'll have people who can guide if you are already a professional. No place for amateurs, especially in Sports.
Placement Experience:
DAV College Chandigarh placements has a remarkable record of 90% of its students placed annually. The college favors academic merit as students with higher academic marks often bag better employment prospects. After 4th semester students can get jobs in IT companies and other jobs. The average package of DAV college is 5.8lacks and the highest package per annum is 8 lacks. My plan after completing my graduation is to get a job in an IT company or private sector.

I was always interested in arts and literature so I do choose this course. The student crowd is quite amazing their as well as faculty are quite good having a very good experience exams are there after 4 month interval so ya overall its a nice one

- The college is in center of city so everyone can reach easily.
- Hostel is inside the college so it's just a 1 minute walking distance
- There is no issue of attendance. Fine can cover all ur attendance
Dislikes
- Some teachers never come to take class so i can say teachers are not that much attentive
- The infrastructure is ok ok. But according to fees it is good
- Hostel rooms are very small they are not in a square shape otherwise warden is good
Placement Experience:
Mainly from 5 semesters , companies start coming with their job offers or sometimes in 4th semester.
The average package is 1.5L and maximum is 18L from D.E Shaw. But from many years this company took no student.
Percentage doesn't matter for placement. What matters is your communication skills.

- the faculty was phd scholars for Masters and they were very friendly

- the infrastructe was good but there is alot of rush in canteen you dont even get a seat to sit on
- and even there is no ac for hot weather and the classrooms get very hot in summers
- and even they dont allow students to park their vehicles in college parking which i didn’t like

I chose MA (English) because I wanted to follow my passion for English and even faculty was so good and was so friendly and they always give you good advices and they were very well qualified all were Ph.D. scholars and in this college, there was semester system in one year there were two sem and 2 mst's.

- The crowd of DAV college is really very great so the vibe of the college is really amazing
- Second thing is friendship .i got my life partner from this college so this is very memorable for me
- Faculty members were also very good .we can also discuss about our future plans with them
Dislikes
- As a javelin lover i really miss javelin throw in this college
- Most of the students are go towards fashion and their looks but they should focus on their studies at this time .So there should be same.unifrorm of all the students
- Parking is not too big so many vehicles are parked on the roadside
Placement Experience:
In the final year of their course, students are eligible to apply to the companies which come to the college for hiring students
Companies like dr morepen , Cadbury, Microtech, etc.
About 60 to 70 percent of students get placed through companies visit in the campus
But I had not applied at the time of graduation because I want to do a master's in applied chemistry so now I'm pursuing a master's in applied chemistry and after this, I'll do phd.

DAV College Chandigarh has a huge campus. It includes a playground and 3-4 little gardens. The college is situated at the center of the city and everything is nearby. You can get all the basic amenities on campus as well. There are two canteens, two Nescafes, a juice center, a stationery shop, a print shop, a salon, and laundry.
The faculties are well-experienced. Some of the faculty members are quite friendly and cooperative. The college has a three-story library. It has a good collection of books.
DAV College has many clubs and societies like Literary society, Economic Society, NSS, etc. The college organizes events like Karvaan, and Star nights annually.
Election times are the worst. There are many fights and unnecessary chaos on campus. The college isn’t strict regarding its attendance rule and you can get away with not attending classes. Faculties sometimes don’t attend the classes and as a result, the students suffer. These are some of the disadvantages that you may have to face on campus.
