Admission:

They check the marksheets for the previous classes. I opted for BCA and then take the interview and then they take the decision if an individual will be choosen for the admission in the college. It's a smooth procees and don't take much time. Within a week this all gets completed.

Placement Experience:

Deloitte, E & Y, Kotak, BAJAJ, and some local firms. Everyone offers a basic 2.5-3 lacs salary. Placements aren't good here. No job referrals or anything. Only 60% of the students get placed most of them take jobs because they want to pursue an MBA and attach their names to big companies even if they offer less salaries. Yami Gautam is I think the most popular alumni of this college.

DAV College Chandigarh: 1 Answered Question

What is your review of DAV College Chandigarh?

Akhil MishraB.Sc medical from DAV College, Chandigarh (2021)

DAV College Chandigarh has a huge campus. It includes a playground and 3-4 little gardens. The college is situated at the center of the city and everything is nearby. You can get all the basic amenities on campus as well. There are two canteens, two Nescafes, a juice center, a stationery shop, a print shop, a salon, and laundry.

The faculties are well-experienced. Some of the faculty members are quite friendly and cooperative. The college has a three-story library. It has a good collection of books.

DAV College has many clubs and societies like Literary society, Economic Society, NSS, etc. The college organizes events like Karvaan, and Star nights annually.

Election times are the worst. There are many fights and unnecessary chaos on campus. The college isn’t strict regarding its attendance rule and you can get away with not attending classes. Faculties sometimes don’t attend the classes and as a result, the students suffer. These are some of the disadvantages that you may have to face on campus.
