“Hi! I’m Aaron, currently pursuing my PGDM here at ISME. While most of us are right here in the heart of Maharashtra i.e Mumbai many of my batch mates attend lectures all the way from Udaipur right up to Lucknow! Diversity is valued at ISME and this is reflected in the bevy of students of which about 47% are females and 53% males coming from various parts of India. This diversity opens doors to various new ideas as every experience of each student differs vastly from the other and as a result the learning never stops! Our class is filled with a selection of engineers, management graduates, and many more which makes us academically diverse.”

“When it came to our notice that the classes of PGDM are going online, the very first thought that came to our mind was how interacting or interesting they can get since the digital platform was completely new for us. That’s where ISME and all the faculties proved their calibre, adopted and discovered various new ways of teaching. Even during the lockdown before the start of the academic session, various weekly webinars on different topics were conducted and as the distance was no issue, they introduced us to various subject matter experts from different domains belonging to India as well as foreign. While the nation was in ambiguity, ISME wasted no time, took the early step and started the first year of PGDM with a few week programs named "Head Start" in July in which various teaching pedagogies were used and with the technology-enabled online classrooms no stones were left unturned to ensure absolute clarity of concepts and full interaction. We were given group activities due to which we were introduced to the concept of breakout rooms, which ultimately led to creating a virtual means of introduction to our classmates and dynamics of working in a team. With the use of whiteboards, interesting presentations, practical learning through screen sharing and various other tools learning was made fun.”
