Likes
- Teachers teach well most of the time and faculty has a background of filmmaking and working in the industry
- we are taught everything from fundamentals to software
- campus is good and well equipped for every basic needs
Dislikes
- Computer labs dont have the best configuration in terms of pcs which is required
- Teachers sometimes hold grudges on students
- Attendance is a big issue in this college with minimum attendance needed 80%
Course Curriculum Overview:
i personally was more keen into doing vfx and that does not start until the 4th semester. The circulum is properly set but somedays are bigger and we dont get enough rest because of it.
Assignments are many and only join if you can work that much

Dislikes
- Internships should have been encouraged right from the first year
- More extracurricular activities should be nurtured
- Strict attendance and deadlines make it difficult for flexibility in students schedule
Placement Experience:
Placement opportunities are given in the last year of the 4 year course. A semester is dedicated to internships in the last year as well as students are encouraged to intern in an NGO in their penultimate year. Multiple MNC's such as PwC, Walmart etc. visit the college for placement opportunities

- Good faculty very helping nature and provides us with alot of information from our current industry
Dislikes
- they don't provide internship as this is the new course introduced in this college
Course Curriculum Overview:
i like drawing so i went for animation and vfx
they tell us alot of stuff from the industry beacuse the teachers worked there for years so yeah pretty good advice
2 finals exams and class tests depends on the teacher

- Experienced faculty with actual industry experience
- Amazing computer labs with extremely high end computing devices.
- Books related to design are avilable in the library.
Dislikes
- Small classrooms, with small desks which makes it hard to do sketching and drawing.
- Small campus, just a building, the lectures happen in mithibai building and the computer lab lectures in glass building
- The admission team can be annoying at times and refuse to help you out.
Placement Experience:
The placements here are really really good, with the highest package of 20lpa and avg of 10lpa , the college stands with some of the top design schools in India. They have tie ups with big companies lole deliotte, axis bank etc and provide amazing placements through them. From my experience and talking to seniors, the college has 100% placement record and i feel they would continue to have it.

- course topics- creative coding, data visualization, interaction design, iot
- assignments are scheduled properly and timetables are followed
- external speaker sessions are insightful
Dislikes
- not very helpful for industrial and product design
- attendance is very strict and taken by roll call
- faculty review forms are sent but so changes or discussions happen
Placement Experience:
Placements are given mostly in uiux and research roles- largely for digital products. the acceptance depends on your portfolio and interview. placements are 100% . you can also find your own place to intern at

- I liked the class quantity as everyone can be friends and there is one to one attention towards children.
- I liked the studios as they have Ac and are also spacious enough to continue with our work.
- There is also a stay late sheet where we can stay till 7 pm.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I chose this course because it is a sum up of few courses. It is also research based . As the student count is 36 per class the teachers can individually keep a check on everyone's work . Teaching method is very practical and you do not have much theory to learn . We have ICA every week and term end exams every semester end . As long as u work hard and present a qualified work with a composing all the teachings it is easy to pass.

- i liked how we have internships options in our 3 rd year so that we can have an actual industy experience.
- i like the clubs that we have in or college so that we can learn something new and fave fun at the same time.
Dislikes
- i dislike the how our college campus is so small.
- i dislike our how we have to spend money other than fees on print outs
Placement Experience:
n the 3rd year people start doing the internships , and in the 4 th year people start working in the industry, the average package is 1200000 per year , my plans after getting the degree is to get experience as a graphic desgner in a big company.

- I like the small size of my class as it allows us to have one on one learning with our professors.
- the acces to so many new tools, and so much new technology.
- I loved how professional all my professors were
Dislikes
- our campus is not the best or the biggest.
- sometimes I feel like sod students are a little away from the rest of the college courses.
Placement Experience:
as I am only in the first year, j do not fully know the details of my college placements. from year 4, we will become eligible for them, and my college is known for having very nice packages, specially for newly graduated students.

- The faculty is really great with amazing industry connections
- The faculty-student ratio is really less along with the student intake, so each student gets proper feedback and learning
- The course structure of sod is offered nowhere and is upto the industry standards and is revised every year as per industry requirements
Dislikes
- The campus could’ve been more spacious along with some of the other co-curricular arrangements
Placement Experience:
Our college offers great placements and industry connections. After the capstone projects, fourth years are eligible to apply for campus placements and internships. Companies like Walmart, deloitte, axis, freecharge etc are some of the reputed recruiters. highest package that was allotted in 2023 was of 22 LPA. There is a 100% placement record of NMIMS SOD for all years since it's existence.

- Course and wide range of subjects , Amenities in the classroom
Dislikes
- Faculty selection for module, like every faculty is best in his/her field but they should only teach their respective subjects not the rest of the subjects.
- The work load management is not good as the course is teaching wide variety of subjects, so every day i am sleeping around 1 in midnight to complete all projects assigned
Placement Experience:
- After 4 semesters you are eligible for the internships and after 8 semesters you are eligible for the placements.
- Deloitte 8 LPA, Walmart 8LPA etc
- 100% of the students are getting placed
- my plan is to get a job via campus recruitment
