My College: NMIMS, SOD

I chose this course because it incorporates the basics of all types of design and i felt that that was the thing I needed to learn. the faculty student ratio is actually very nice as it's 2:35. all the faculty of my college are extremely qualified and skilled. they inspire us to be better and act as role models. their friendly way of teaching inspires and motivates us to do better, even if to just impress them.the term exams were pretty timely, the preparation leave was also adequate. I would say that they were a little difficult to pass, but not impossible specially for a well reputed college like ours.

as I said, Im not really sure about the details of our internship. our college has many opportunities available with many well known companies and brands, making it easier for us to jump right into the corporate world freshly our of undergrad.

as I am only in the first year, j do not fully know the details of my college placements. from year 4, we will become eligible for them, and my college is known for having very nice packages, specially for newly graduated students.

though the fees is a little pricey, the education we get makes up for it as my college provides us with various different tools like 3d printers, lasers, vr equipment etc, to give us a professional experience. my course does not offer scholarships, financial assistance, or campus jobs.

we have options of joining many clubs and commities like cultural club, sdg club, photography club, graphic design club, sports club, etc all these clubs and run by only students. though not our course, but our college holds many fests throughout the months, specially in January and February. we also have continuous stalls and small fests in our building. there is a library that we have access to with many books relating to design and otherwise. we have many workshop tools, 3d printers, laser machines, and other equipment that we are free to learn and use whenever we require them.

the process was pretty easy, we had to submit our documents and also give an entrance exam, but those who passed uceed did not need to give it. something better could be improving the interface of the official SOD student portal to make it easier for applicants to submit required documents and forms.
