SBM NMIMS Admission
The selection criteria of the institute are based on an entrance test namely NMAT conducted by GMAC. This will be followed by a personal interview. Candidates with a GMAT score of more than 600 are also eligible for admission.
How to Apply for NMIMS?
For courses, where admission will be granted on the basis so of NMAT: The application form for NMAT can be filled by visiting https://www.nmat.org/.
- Click on Register Button on the top right corner of the page.
- Provide the required details for registration like email and a valid mobile number.
- Select the country for tests, enter Captcha and create an account.
- You will receive a verification email, click on verify
- On the following page, provide identity Information, Parents Details, Identity Proof Details, and select if you have any special needs (for Differently Abled Candidates only).
- Click on Next and Provide Academic Information like 10+2 marks, Graduation marks, etc.
- Complete the application process by paying the required application fees.
For other Courses:
- Visit the official website of the NMIMS and register online.
- Before filling the online form, candidates are advised to read the instructions mentioned in the instruction sheet after referring to “Important Dates” for each course separately.
- Payment of registration fees can be made by credit card (Visa/ Master).
Selection Criteria
Stage 1: NMAT by GMAC™ test is a mandatory test for applying to the following NMIMS University programs:
- This year GMAC has introduced two types of testing modes for the exam. One is an Online Proctored Exam that can be taken from home and the second is the centre based online exam. Candidates have the option to take the test either at a test centre with social distancing protocols or to take the online proctored exam from the comfort of their home.
- After the candidate has applied to NMIMS, the score of the NMAT by GMAC™ Test will be submitted by GMAC electronically to NMIMS (Deemed to-be-University).
Stage 2: Case Discussion (CD) and Personal Interview (PI) only for shortlisted candidates.
Note: The result for NMAT by GMAC™ test will be declared on the www.nmat.org.in website and the shortlisting for the next round of CD and PI will be declared on the www.nmims.edu website.

To get admission in SBM NMIMS you have to register at GMAC for the NMAT exam for which you get three chances and the highest score is taken for the admission process. you can pick any date to take the exam between the months of October and January and the mode of exam is also your own choice, either online proctored or offline.

To enroll into SBM NMIMS you have to register at GMAC for the NMAT exam where you can choose any date as per your convenience between the months of october and january. You can appear for mock tests available at the GMAC portal and can reschedule your exam at a fee of Rs.2500

To apply for MBA at NMIMS, you have to register for the NMAT exam via the GMAC website. You can choose a date and time as per your own comfort between the months of October and January. The cutoff is between 220-250 out of 360 with varying sectional cutoffs. The cutoff is released in February after which you are called in for WAT/PI process to finally get a call from NMIMS.

there was a WAT and then a PI after we got shortlisted basis the cut off released for reaching campus of the NMAT scores. our NMAT exam had 3 attempts and we had a sectional cut off of 76 and an overall 240 for the Mumbai campus

To apply for MBA in NMIMS you have to register for NMAT exam via NMAT by GMAC website after which you get 3 attempts and the best score is taken into consideration. Then the shortlist is given and selected students are called for the WAT/ PI round in mid-February. The final list is out by first week in march of the selected students.

The admission process consisted of applying for the NMAT exam via NMAT by GMAC website where you can appear for the exam a maximum of 3 times from which the highest scorw will be considered. After the cutoff is released, the call for a WAT/ PI round is given to the selected candidates.

The candidate should be BPharm, B.sc Graduate, or Biotech in Pharmacy. Form and fees will be available on nmims website in the pdf. Application fees are 12.5 lakh ( for both years). Application dates are mentioned in nmat selected confirmation letter after wat and pi round.

The entrance exam was NMAT. Post-cut-off clearance, we had a Written Ability Test round and then a Personal Interview. WAT was on current affairs and PI was 10-15mins long. NMAT was a fairly easy test.
