NMIMS SOD- The holistic multidisciplinary experience

It's a multidisciplinary course which is more inclined towards UI and UX, research oriented as well. We have very well experienced and qualified faculties who have great connections in the industry. faculty studio ratio is 1:15 usually an assistant professor is there with the main professor in every module. Each module is either of seven or 14 days. Term exam was conducted in a single week with a gap of 1-2 days in between. The exam submissions were moderately difficult. There were no written exams only project submissions.

Our college offers great placements and industry connections. After the capstone projects, fourth years are eligible to apply for campus placements and internships. Companies like Walmart, deloitte, axis, freecharge etc are some of the reputed recruiters. highest package that was allotted in 2023 was of 22 LPA. There is a 100% placement record of NMIMS SOD for all years since it's existence.

The fee structure is 4.5LPA which has to be paid altogether at the beginning of the course every year. There are no such scholarships or financial aid provided by NMIMS SOD as of now. Although university does provide summer internships at the end of second year as well as campus placements in fourth year.

Our campus is situated on 6th and 7th floor at svkm mithibai. We have 5 clubs, the photographics, sustainability, sports, cultural and tech club. NMIMS SOD takes part in all all going events related to design, like hackathons, IIT typography day, etc. We have access to thousands of free assets and e-books through the library

Generally a studio test and Personal Interview is conducted, if the student is UCEED qualified, then only personal interview is taken along with portfolio review. The application form is available on the nmims SOD website, the application fees is 2000. No reservations are there as such. The cutoff is usually 30 merit rank as there are only 30 seats available per year

written test ir studio test and GAT were for students who didn't qualify UCEED along with personal interview and portfolio interview. Those who had qualified uceed did not need to appear for written test and could directly proceed for the personal interview
