- You can get a loan through the "student credit card" program at 4 % simple interest also you can get a swami vivekananda scholarship from the west bengal government.
- All the teachers are well educated and helpful, and most important their teaching style is excellent
- Comparatively better placements than other colleges in this tier and many job opportunities on the merit of students.
Dislikes
- Students are eligible for placement after 6th sem ..but placement are low because of recession and when i say low it's pretty less.
- Library is very bad and not at all good for self study
- You didnt get satisfying college in jee mains and looking for decent placement with low investvent you can opt this college.there are not much staffs in this college .

The placement in this college is really on a good scale if a students studies abit can crack a good job the average package here is between 4-5 lacks and the amount of companies visiting the college is also so much that it gives a good confidence of not being left unplaced

In my college there is a campus placement offered which is the best part of the college and average you can expect it rs 600000 and it can go higher based on your performances and skills there are alot of opportunities in this college

- Faculty members are generally good and helpful
- Many IT and software companies visit the campus. Good placement support from the college
- The library has good collection of books. Also labs are well equipped for practical learning.
Dislikes
- Limited opportunities for core Mechanical jobs
- Limited space in campus and also lack of large sports ground.
- Some professors follow only theoretical approaches without much practical insights
Placement Experience:
TMSL is good for IT and software-related role but moderate for core Mechanical Engineering jobs
Placement rate high for CS and IT, and for Core Branches it's moderate.
Students become eligible for campus placement from the 6th semester. Major placement drives happen in 7th and 8th semester.

- I like the college's location as it is located in the prime location of Kolkata .
- So it is very easy to travel to college through buses and metro as it is very close to sector v metro station.
- Faculties in our college are supportive. So it is very easy to interact with them and makes our doubts very clear easily.
Dislikes
- The campus of college is not very big enough to conduct the major sports events.
- There is no hostel facility provided by college which makes some difficulties to find nearby PG's and Flats.
- The faculties of college are supportive but some of them are very boring and egoistic which makes sometime difficult for students to interact.
Placement Experience:
As I am in the first year so I don't have enough accurate knowledge about placements however as much as i have heard the placement are good/average and many companies visit over here. In case somehow if you unable to get placed through college then it is located in the prime location of Kolkata where so many IT companies are located where you can apply and secures a good job. As I have heard from the seniors every year around 90 percent students get placed.

- The faculties are good and they try to complete the syllabus on time and emphasize that students are exams ready
- The college has many clubs like educational, sports , skills-development and cultural.
- The location of the college is good as it is situated in Salt Lake area of Kolkata which is a hub for many corporate offices.
Dislikes
- The campus size is very less , just 3 acres. Also Techno Main Salt Lake and Techno India University are situated inside this 3 acres area only.
- The management is not so good. They don't inform you prior about any important thing.
- There is no transparency in terms of placement statistics. The college doesn't provide the statistics to students.
Placement Experience:
One of the thing I dislike about this college is the placement scenario. During admission I was told that being in a corporate sector location the college has a good placement opportunities but after coming to college I saw that the college is not at all transparent to the students regarding the placement statistics.
Since I am a first year student here I don't have much knowledge regarding this but as to what I have heard most of the good packages one get is off-campus.Mostly service based companies visit the campus for placement. No statistics of placement is provided by the college anywhere , just the percentage placement of every branch is given on its site which does not look genuine honestly.
The average package offered is 5-7lpa for CSE related branches as of what I have heard.
If you get a better college and can afford go for it, or you can try for GATE, CAT, SSC , UPSC as a future plan. Otherwise you have to work very hard on your own in order to grab a good placement opportunity.
