I like the most that teacher are very interactive with student in every field . they are ready to help the student when there is need.
There are various seminar and events are organised regardind different things. Such as for higher studies, real time skill in industries
There is no restriction regarding the leaving the campus . There is no ragging Seniors are very friendly with the juniors .

Dislikes

Campus is too small . There is no hostle facilities available for the students . Outsider state student were facing problem.
College is strict regarding the attendance . In some department uniform is mandatory. Some teacher call the guardian if there is less attendance .
Some facilities are not so good like library many book are not upto date , wifi facilities .

During the intership time many of the student get the intership opportunities . They get intership from the well known IT companies such as TCS ,CONGIZANT , IBM and many more . Student get the stipend also . Role offered are Software Engineer, Data Scientist , Web Developer etc. Many student makes a project on differnt technolgy . Real world problem .

MY JOURNEY IN TECHNO MAIN SALT LAKE

Likes

I liked about the sports and education facility in our campus.
Our college has quality teachers which is very impressive.
Our faculty members are very friendly by nature. They help in our research paper and also for gate preparation.

Dislikes

College could not take any aptitude test.
Canteen has no QR code or online payment facility.
Attendance is must which is very cruel and bad affect in our life

Internships Opportunities:

TCS,WIPRO,INFOSYS etc company give internship to the student for 3 months or less months and they also give 2000 RS per month as stipend. As a web developer and software engineer roles they offerd. AUV AND automatic atm machine or website projects task work by students.

Our clg is really soo good. And our ece department is really soo good teacher are also friendly

I liked teacher behavior in clg and lab teacher and lab helping teacher are also good they have very helpful behavior with us.the other depertment students are also friendly with us and our department students are also helpful.
The behavior of senior is also good and our campus is totally raging free.The teaching method of faculty is soo good.Every year in ece departments eligible student 70 percentage students get placement in many company .
The average salary is per month 30000 to 40000.and our clg has different type of club they teach us different type of skils like dance quize robotic cooding etc etc.

Dislikes

Lab component are very old and the software lab some computer does not work properly.
Clg campus is very little.And the ground is small so we does not play football and crickets properly.
Lift capacity is less and total no of lift is less so this is the problems in exam time to get lift empty.

Placement Experience:

In 3rd year students eligible for placement The company are tcs, cognizant,wippro,capgimini etc etc and 70 percent student get placement every year. Highest package is 11LPA and average 4LPA My planning after geeting degree to crack the gate and do M.Tech.

Life at Techno Main Salt Lake: A Blend of Academics ,Campus Vives & Career Growth

Likes

Techno Main Salt Lake is one of the best private engineering college in westbengal
It offers programs aligned with industry standards.
It has decent placement records especially in CSE,IT

Dislikes

TMSL is situated in IT hub of kolkata so Limited campus space.
This college have no official hostels. But you can rent PG.
This college have no big canteen it just have one cafetaria.

Placement Experience:

Students can became eligible for placement from 7th semester 4th year.Many company require a minimam cgpa of 8 and no active backlog. They conduct some Aptitude test coding test Technical Interview and Hr interview. Many top company visit TMSL like TCS,Cognizant,IBM,LTI Mindtree, HCL etc. Lowest package about 2.5 lpa and average package was about 4lpa and highest package about 10lpa. CSE & IT have highest placement rate compare to core branch .

Likes

Extra curricular activities are always running along with curriculum
Placement percentage is quite good in case most of student get placed with college
Sports are getting promoted in college like always tournament and other thing are engaging

Dislikes

Attendance is very strict and some rules about attendance is very strict
Teaching style is not impressive and they will not focus on student that much .
Average package is very low and very number of companies visit in vollege

Placement Experience:

From the end of the sixth semester I will be eligible for the campus placement and this will run till last of the fourth year. Abd intership opportunities are negligible in terms of college you have to see outside college

The college of dreams

Likes

The faculty are very much friendly to everyone
The laboratory in the college are really very good
The college holds good amount of fest to make a great social culture inside the college

Dislikes

The college is always under some construction to make things better
The college ground is abit small but it is not that much a issue
The college is actually too good from all other sides

Internships Opportunities:

The interships here is a really good amount when in 3rd year the college allows alot of internship opportunities teachers are really helpful in that regard and so anyone who wants to do internships its a good opportunity for them

TMSL - A balanced blend of learning, placements and opportunities.

Likes

Faculty members are generally good and helpful
Many IT and software companies visit the campus. Good placement support from the college
The library has good collection of books. Also labs are well equipped for practical learning.

Dislikes

Limited opportunities for core Mechanical jobs
Limited space in campus and also lack of large sports ground.
Some professors follow only theoretical approaches without much practical insights

Internships Opportunities:

Students from mechanical engineering can pursue internship with companies like TATA Steel, L&T, Mahindra, Jindal steel, and Hindustan Motors. Mechanical students can also participate in industry driven projects related to area such as machine design, robotics, automation and manufacturing processes Internship usually last between 6-8 weeks during summer breaks between second and third year.

About my college

Likes

I like the college's location as it is located in the prime location of Kolkata .
So it is very easy to travel to college through buses and metro as it is very close to sector v metro station.
Faculties in our college are supportive. So it is very easy to interact with them and makes our doubts very clear easily.

Dislikes

The campus of college is not very big enough to conduct the major sports events.
There is no hostel facility provided by college which makes some difficulties to find nearby PG's and Flats.
The faculties of college are supportive but some of them are very boring and egoistic which makes sometime difficult for students to interact.

Internships Opportunities:

No I have not opted for any internships until now as I am in the first semester only, however I have heard from many seniors that they got good opportunities from college and many of my seniors are doing internships in the field of web development.

An Honest Review : TMSL

Likes

The faculties are good and they try to complete the syllabus on time and emphasize that students are exams ready
The college has many clubs like educational, sports , skills-development and cultural.
The location of the college is good as it is situated in Salt Lake area of Kolkata which is a hub for many corporate offices.

Dislikes

The campus size is very less , just 3 acres. Also Techno Main Salt Lake and Techno India University are situated inside this 3 acres area only.
The management is not so good. They don't inform you prior about any important thing.
There is no transparency in terms of placement statistics. The college doesn't provide the statistics to students.

Internships Opportunities:

I don't have much knowledge regarding the internship scenario of the college but it is average as what I have heard. One has to work hard himself to grap the very less opportunities that come in college.
