Techno Main Salt Lake, Kolkata came into existence in 2001. It is affiliated to MAKAUT and is one of the top academic institutions under the Techno India Group.
The academy is approved by AICTE and accredited by NBA.
The college offers an array of UG and PG courses under different departments. Admission norms and criteria according to the guidelines of MAKAUT. Admission to B.Tech will be based on the marks secured in either JEE Mains or WBJEE.

Techno Main Salt Lake B.Tech Eligibility Criteria:
Admission is done on the basis of marks obtained in 10+2 and qualifying entrance exams.
- A candidate must secure a minimum of 45% aggregate in 10+2 with physics, chemistry and mathematics as compulsory subjects (pass marks in individual subjects is a must)
- Those who have passed in vocational subject with prescribed percentage are also eligible with pass marks in both theory and practical
- Must have passed English in 10+2 with minimum 30% marks
- Valid score/marks in WBJEE or JEE (Mains) exam
- Minimum age of 17 years during the time of admission
- There is no age limit for appearing in WBJEE
- Admission on a provisional basis for those awaiting final year/semester result
Techno Main Salt Lake B.Tech Selection Process:
- Admission takes place via single window counseling at the campus on the basis of marks obtained in 10+2 and WBJEE/JEE Mains.
- Once the cut off is released, an eligible student can apply online for the desired course and stream.
- For lateral entry to 2nd Year B.E/B.Tech courses, there is no age limit restrictions.

- Placement records are good than other college.
- Teachers are very friendly, they help much as they can do.
Dislikes
- They have no hostel facility and not much big playground inside the college.
- All the rooms are not air conditioning.only some of are air conditioning.
Admission:
I have applied for the Heritage Institute of Technology, Computer Science and Engineering However, with 6,000 ranks, I am not able to get into the branch that interests me the most. But I have to do BTech with cse branch so I decided to come to this college. The admission process are as:- WBJEE > counseling And you have to pay a high amount of Rs 1400000 if you come through management quota.

- Teachers helping in assignments and giving useful notes and study materai
Dislikes
- Some of the computers don't work properly
- Wifi is not accessible for the students in the college area

First I applied for IEM but it was not like other colleges it was more like school ,but this college give me a good environment to learn without a pressure,for admission you just have to crack wbjee or jee mains

- In techno India. There are ratio of girls and boys are 50-50
- Very good infrastructure in college campus, building and playground and too much arranged

- After corona virus period machines are not working properly

The Techno india group is very good Institute as per their infrastructure, laboratories, Extra Caricullum activities, extra class like foreign language, best facility, strict rules, antiraging society and so on. Techno india admit throug WBJee & Jee Mains results. Overall admission experience is good

I take this college by my wbjee rank and I got 6000 rank and get this college . I have no intention to get this college but . This college is preferable to btech but BCA and BBA are too good .TMSL is not bad .

For admission on MCA in West Bengal they are conducted a entrance exam JECA. if there any student do good rank then they chance to admission on good college and the admission process is good I didn't face any problem regarding the admission

- Placement was not so good in the year of 2024.
- There was no indoor game facility, canteen was not good.
Admission:
Admission process is very simple. There is an entrance exam called JECA. If your rank is below 1000 then you get this college easily by counselling. There is no reservation policies. If the preparation for JECA examination is good then you can get this college easily.

- I really hate college campus because it's too small in size
- Examination timings are really bad in my college.
Admission:
I took admission through WEBJEE exam which is conducted every year . So, my rank was under six thousand that's why I got the CSE branch in my collage.you can also apply for this exam through WEBJEE official portal. Exam are not that difficult but yah seats are limited for other states students

- Some specific year the placement is not good but its rare some time.
Admission:
In JECA if you scored below 500 rank you will easily get the college just wait for the counselling. If there others good college available then go for it or wait for the second round of the counselling.

- I would like to say that teachers and hod is very humble and they would never disrespect any students.

- And the second one was engineering drawing which i didnt like at all but yes these two lab subjects has more credit points in you sem

The admission process was very easy, as i was alloted this collge from wbjee rank , so i got aiml cse in 1 round of seat allotment then i sitted for 2 md round then i got same branch and same collge then i visited collge and done all the procedures it usually took me 2 hours

Wbjee and jee mains are the accepted modes of admission in the college. For ECE you'd have to have within 12k of wbjee rank to qualify. Diploma options are also available and the college also supports lateral entries of students.
