Review of Techno Main saltlake

Likes

Placement records are good than other college.
Teachers are very friendly, they help much as they can do.

Dislikes

They have no hostel facility and not much big playground inside the college.
All the rooms are not air conditioning.only some of are air conditioning.

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year students are able to intern and college helps to crack it. Here company gives a job of around 6 -7lpa. The college's highest placement is around 20 lakh in 2024 on campus Overall 90 % of students got placed.

In techno India. There are ratio of girls and boys are 50-50
Very good infrastructure in college campus, building and playground and too much arranged

Dislikes

After corona virus period machines are not working properly

Placement Experience:

From 6 th semester student are eligible. TCS, L@T, Cognizant, Infosys, EY, LTN , Blue Dart, Tata Motors, Mahindra Tech and no of small companies and startup are visited in Techno India in last year. 90% of student are getting jobs through campaign drive.

Likes

The faculties are good, helpful and friendly and there mentorship quality also good
The infrastructure of the college is good, They provide us facilities like ground, Ac class

College placement is not good in this year

Placement Experience:

This year our college placements are not good there have few opportunities but companies are hiring very low amount of students like 2 or 3... From my dep only 5-6 students are placed in 60 students Now I prepared for off campus placement and now I learning some new technologies and applying for off campus opportunities

Likes

Nice College Campus, Playgrounds available.
Airconditioning classrooms. Good airy environment.

Dislikes

Placement was not so good in the year of 2024.
There was no indoor game facility, canteen was not good.

Placement Experience:

Placement of Techno Main Saltlake is avarage. Students eligible for Campus placement in second year(third semester). In the year of 2023-24, 10 companies visited. Name of companies TCS, Accenture,IBM, Ezerx, Cloudkaptan, LTI Mindtree. Total 6 students get placements. Percentage of placement is very poor. After gettting degree I will search offcampus jobs.

Honest review of techno main Salt Lake

Likes

The friends that I makes in college are life time friends
And there is not that much attendance pressure compared to other colleges

Dislikes

I really hate college campus because it's too small in size
Examination timings are really bad in my college.

Placement Experience:

Overall, college placement for CSE and IT are good in my college but for branches like civil, it's difficult to placed. Average package of CSE students are generally 5 to 6 lakhs. 90 percent students usually got the placement last year.

Likes

Great faculty, lovey seniors, very exciting events.

Dislikes

Campus is kind of on the smaller side and not much to do.
You have to wear uniforms on exam days must.

Placement Experience:

After the 6-7th semester students get eligible for campus placements. Companies like TCS and Wipro are one of the mass recruiting companies. Almost all the students get placed with an average package of 3 lakhs.

Likes

I like the campus of my college very much.
The classrooms and labs of my college are very spacious and comfortable.

Dislikes

There are no on campus hostels available.

Placement Experience:

Each and every students of our college gets placements. The students generally gets placed on the 8th semesters. The brilliant students gets placed on the well known company. The average students and the below average ones too gets placed in some other company with different packages. None of the students of our college remains unemployed.

I liked the lab facility in my college.
I liked the education of faculties for good education

The college campus is too short so i dislike this
The library is too short for peacefully the reading a book

From 6 th semester student are allowed for campus placement.TCS, WIPRO, CAPGEMINI, ACCENTURE, IBM, HALDIA PETROCHEMICAL.TECH MAHINDRA AND OTHER COMPANY VISITED THIS COLLEGE.HIGHEST PACKAGE 18 L PER ANNUM AND AVERAGE PACKAGE 6 LAKHS PER ANNUM. 98 % STUDENT GET PLACEMENT.MY PLAN IS M.TECH FROM ANY NIT OR IIT BY GATE EXAM.

Exams are conducted in well and organised way
fests are conducted on a regular basis as well

Dislikes

exams are conducted just after a holiday whch can affect outside state students.
language barrier is there for non native of WB as teachers might start teaching in bengali.

Placement Experience:

placemnts are offered but mainly service based comanie come. as per seniors around 50-60% students have got placed concidering recession it's good. college does not disclose its pacement record but avg package here is around 4lakh. my plans are to get placement or apply for mTech

Likes

First of all the course fees I very nominal as compared to other private colleges in the India.
The teacher of this college mainy my branch ( EE) are having good educational qualification do and the lab classes are also well quipped

Dislikes

The college area is too small. Ground of this college is also too small. The infrastructure is also not maintained too much.

Placement Experience:

The student from 7th semester are eligible to seat for the placement. Company starts to come from mid of October. Last year due to recession very less company visited the campus main company which visited were TCS, WIPRO, ACCENTURE, HAVELLS, etc. Average offer made was around ?300000
