The things that I like most is that it's academic is very good there are regular test and practices of the syllabus and classes are very regular and in every class the teacher are present .
Tha availability of cadever is quite sufficient .student got the chance to actually observe the cadavour by himself .
It's lab either it is biochem or physiology lab it is one of the finest lab every practical is being performed the equipments are new fashioned .and maintained is good condition

Dislikes

I think the infrastructure of the college need to be improve especially the hospital area .
The availability of play ground is not sufficient .yes some play ground are available .But no ground for cricket football .
The administration of the colleges are not much supportive .if you ask for something the will reply violently .

Internships Opportunities:

Here the company not visit it is a medical college here the internship opportunity is actually provided by gov itself in form of service bond .so you don't have to think about the placement problem and all you will get placed by gov .

Campus of my college is too small but affordable. Social interaction are great because my college is medical college so different types of people come and interact with us
Faculty of my college are great and knowledgefull. All facilities are expert in their own subject
Infrastructure of my college are well developed and also hospital associated with my college are well developed

Dislikes

Campus are too small and don't have any sports ground for outdoor games
Infrastructure of some lectures hall are too bad and don't have a enough space for students

Internship provided by government for medical student which have passed 4th year University examination. Internship students doing job in associate hospital and government pay stopped of 1500 rupees only

How to make doctors

Likes

College has sufficient lecture hall so , no problem of lecture hall for study
College has two big auditorium with capacity of 1000 seat each with comfortable seats
College has best practicle lab there is no lack of practice as a medical student

Dislikes

College doesn't have well structured ground for sports
College doesn't have big hostel for our living
In some lecture hall a.c.doesnt work properly so in summer there is problem in study

Internships Opportunities:

After 4.5year of mmbs every medical college have hospital where we got internship of 1 year. Stipened is 18000 per month. During internship we get training of treatment of patients. For every medical student internship is compulsory.

24 hour Library Reading Room for studying
Lecture hall is well ventilated with air conditioner

Dislikes

Some of the Lecture Hall are not renewed like AC is non-functional
Drinking water from RO is not available everywhere in the campus

Internships Opportunities:

Internship is to be done compulsory at Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Memorial Hospital, Raipur. It is done according to NMC guidelines which is for 1year in different departments for respective time period. Internship is paid us with Rs.15900/month which is paid once in 3 months combined.

After mbbs 4 years u have to do internship in the hospital which is attached to the college named as Dr B R ambedkar hospital. For internship you will be getting 16000 stipend permonth Internship is done for 1 year

The Specifications of Pt. JNMMC Raipur

Likes

24 hours open outer library, inner Library is closed at 12:00 AM and opened 9:30 AM
Almost every department of Medicine and Surgery with Non Clinical and Para clinical department are available.

Dislikes

Amenities like clean drinking water is not available everywhere in the campus
The lecture hall is not repaired ASAP, 3 out of 4 Lecture hall doesn't have well functioning air conditioning

Internships Opportunities:

The course comes with a compulsory rotary internship in every department with an income of 15900/month. The working time is usually 8hr daily with some time night duties in ICU Wards and labor rooms which is must.

States best medical college with highly educated faculties
Biggest hospital of state is attached with college for intership n clinical expouser
An good n excellent allumni for last 66 years which studied from here

Dislikes

College infrastructure is too old in terms of buildings and classrooms
Hostel facility is not proper for boys and girls both
Less area for playground there only one basketball court and one vollyball ground

Best Medical College in the State for MBBS

Likes

Well Experienced Professors who are themselves the top Doctors of the State.
Excellent Patient Exposure as in the field of Medical Sciences, a good Patient Exposure is a must and as the associated Dr. BRAM Hospital is the highest Government Hospital in the State, the Exposure is very nice.
The Fest and Other Annual Cultural Events are the most Memorable. And the New Auditorium is Awesome for a Government college Like this.

Dislikes

College campus is a bit small as it is in the heart of the City and If you expect a large campus, you will surely be slightly disappointed.

Internships Opportunities:

The Internship takes place for 1 year in the Hospital Associated to the College named Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar Memorial Hospital which is the Largest Government hospital of the State and is functioning since 1995 and has the State of the Art Facilities from the MRI, CT machines to the Advanced Cardiac Institute and Regional Cancer Centre.

MBBS at Pt. JNMMC Raipur from a first year's POV

Likes

Alumni network is great. It's the oldest medical college of chhatisgarh located in the heart of the city.
It's known as Mekahara in local language and right from children to old age people choose to come here.

Dislikes

It's a bit congested. 75 acres is not a lot so it can feel cluttered.
Hostels aren't top quality so students choose to live outside sometimes.

You have to do a compulsory internship of 1 year after 4.5 years of mbbs, after which you get your mbbs degree. Other than that, you can choose to do any research projects by contacting the department of your choice. It's more of a voluntary activity here and not very promoted I feel. It's something that needs to be worked upon.

Likes

The professors are very knowledgeable and helpful. All the departments have highly experienced faculties. Here we also have demonstrators and PG students who help us as our teaching aid.
We have monthly assessments for clinical postings. We have to prepare seminars,projects. During clinical postings we have very interactive sessions with patients.
Our Library is well maintained with 24 hrs wifi . The college environment is good.

Dislikes

Our girl's ug hostel building is very old and needs maintainace.
The events in our college are very few and are not that much good and

Internships Opportunities:

As our college is a government medical college, we don't get placements in private institutions but after completion of the ug internship we can apply for private facilities otherwise we have to work for govt. Facilities of various hierarchies like PHC, CHC, and District hospitals, and also after completion of PG we can apply for private facilities.
