Rajalakshmi Engineering College Chennai Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The placements in our college is more in IT, CSE department other than our core ECE or biomedical department. There were many top companies visited. The percentage of students getting selected is very minimal.

Students are eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester onwards. Several companies like ziffo, tcs, prochant etc. made into the drive and the offer ranged from 3.5lpa to 12lpa. The highest package offered are the super dream package that is 13-15lpa and the dream package 8-12lpa. The average package is 4-6lpa. Around 75-80 percent of students who opt for placement gets placed before graduation. Personally, I wanted to pursue postgraduate studies so i opted out of placements.

From 3 rd yr campus placements companies like Virtusa, google Zifozoho arrives. The average is 4.5l, and the highest like 10l 80% of students will get placed remaining will be doing a master's also I'm.

The students are Eligible for the placements from semester 6. TCS, CTS, mind tree, Amazon, HCl, Zoho, Zifo and many more companies visited in Rec campus, The highest package offered by Zoho is 7.5laks per annum. More than 96 percent of students are placed in Rec. I got placed in a company waiting for their onboard recruitment.

In the 5 th semester students are eligible for campus placement.HCL, Wipro, Capgemini, TCS. The highest package is 3 lakhs and the average package will be 3 to 4 lakhs. 95 % of students will get definitely placed.

While I was in my 5th sem the companies will start to recruit students. Companies like ZOHO, Mindtree, TCS, CTS, and even core companies will visit my college for recruitment. Packages start from 2.5lpa to 16lpa. Literally 100% of the students get placed for sure. The college provides post-graduation degrees with a monthly stipend so that the student could learn and at the same time earn.

From the 7th semester, we are eligible for placements. Nearly 50+ companies will come for placement 99% of students will get placed based on skills they provide a package minimum of 10L per annum they offer a maximum of 35l per annum.

From 3rd year the placement activities started. REC has a high placement record always, they even have tied up with TCS, etc. Many IT and core companies visited TCS, CTS, Wipro, Zoho, Accenture, HCL, Amazon, Walmart. And students also got placed in startups. The average salary is 3-7LPA. The highest package offers are mostly from CS/IT department 10-12LPA. In my department, except for 4-5 students all got placed. And REC also has tie-ups with organizations for higher studies.
