Review about REC- because the world needs you

REC is best for the Biomedical Engineering department, it has good records and amazing facilities. The counseling was smooth and good. I didn't avail any quota for admission. They have cut off marks for the admission. I think it is 89-95 % (biomedical) for my course.

I had an interest in the medical field that's why I chose Biomedical Engineering, and REC is one of the best colleges for this course especially. The faculties are available in good in all branches. In my department, the faculties are so friendly and very knowledgeable. They are always ready to help us both personally and professionally. The qualification of all the faculties is above M.E/M.Tech /Ph.D. We have 3 CAT exams ( continuous Assessment Tests) and a final semester. If we did well in CAT then there is no worry about semester exams, it's easy to clear.

In each department, they will take industrial visits to places like BSNL, NSCL LTD, Hospital training to Apollo and Global healthcare, Hyundai, etc. In the biomedical department, they will suggest hospital training at the apollo, Lifeline, etc. All the faculties are helpful in project work.

From 3rd year the placement activities started. REC has a high placement record always, they even have tied up with TCS, etc. Many IT and core companies visited TCS, CTS, Wipro, Zoho, Accenture, HCL, Amazon, Walmart. And students also got placed in startups. The average salary is 3-7LPA. The highest package offers are mostly from CS/IT department 10-12LPA. In my department, except for 4-5 students all got placed. And REC also has tie-ups with organizations for higher studies.

The fees structure differs for counseling students and management quota students. There is no fees hike policy. It remains the same throughout your academic year. I don't know about the scholarship/ financial assistance here. I got placed in cognizant. REC has good placement records. Most of the students got placed in TCS, CTS, Wipro, Accenture, Zoho, Amazon, etc.

The cultural event that had is RECharge fest many celebrities came to that event. Each department will conduct symposiums and other tech events regularly. The classroom atmosphere is good. All the course books are available in the library, we can get extra library cards if we score above 8.5 GPA then it's applicable throughout the academic year. There are many social clubs such as Rotaract, NSS, Atrium, Tamil club, Ethics club, etc. REC has a very good record in sports and other activities too.
