- Infrastructure is old and there are many scribbles on the benches and walls
- There are not enough hostel seats, from what I have heard only 4 students can get seats from each course
Course Curriculum Overview:
The college provides with good understanding of core commerce subjects like Financial Accounting, business organisation management and business law. The curriculum is quite relevant to real-world applications. As I'm part of two societies finance and investment cell and enactus, financial and managerial knowledge is really applicable in these societies.
I believe incorporating more modern technical tools into the teaching methods would make us even more industry-ready.

- The college has a very distinguished and reputed faculty known for its commendable academic research.
- SVC is known for its vibrant extra curricular culture, fests and the amazing location it is located in.
- My college also has the best and smooth administration working tirelessly for the smooth functioning of the college.
Dislikes
- The college has an amazing placement record but the amount of companies coming every year, gets a bit uncertain and changes.
Placement Experience:
As I have also told before, SVC has a well proven good placement records with Big 4 firms coming almost every year in college. There are also other big names like coming for placement drive alsmog every year. The placement cell is well functioning and the recruitment process is very smooth. The college also has a very good Alumini base in almost every top firm, making it very crucial for placements.

- Infrastructure could be improved in a few areas and administrative process can sometimes be slow

Placements at the college are moderate and fairly decent for commerce courses. Students usually become eligible for placements in the final year. The average package is around 5-6 LPA with higher packages for a few profiles. A good number of students get placed while others opt for higher studies or professional courses

They get eligible after 6th semester and companies like Bcg Deloitte come and offer packages the highest package was around 28 lakh last year and average was 8 Lakh and i plan to not sit for placements and prepare for cat

Yes we do have a dedicated placement cell.
Companies like deloitte, KPMG, PwC, accenture, DE shaw are where students get placements successfully.
Average package is 5.5 lakh to 6 lakh and highest package is 21.5 LPA

- The faculty, especially in the Department of Commerce, is very encouraging and easily approachable. The teachers explain concepts clearly and guide them even outside the classroom; they always come forward to help the students.
- the placement cell is pretty active. Students regularly get offers for internships, live projects, and placement-related queries, and the cell makes consistent efforts to provide industry exposure to the students.
- The curriculum is properly structured and at a good pace. The faculties use the class time properly, including extended periods, which they use to discuss case studies or practical applications relevant to the topics, thereby adding value.
Dislikes
- the infrastructure needs improvement, as the auditorium is not properly developed and the old building lacks lift facilities.

Course Curriculum Overview:
I would rate the course curriculum as relatively relevant and comprehensive. I believe that all of the topics learned are highly relevant to commerce; my interest in Accountancy was one of my driving reasons to do a Bachelor of Commerce course; and also because I am already studying Chartered Accountancy. The curriculum has good practical value in real life, and this is evident in the use of case studies to help relate theory to reality. However, to enhance the course, practical components need to be added to the curriculum. Exams are usually held at the end of each semester, in the afternoons. The questions in the exam are of moderate difficulty level. Any student who regularly studies can clear the exam comfortably.

1. I would rate the course cirriculum high in relevance as it covers both theoretical and practical concepts.
2. The academic structure is strong and updated subjects and strong career oriented electives motivated me to choose this subject.
3. The cirriculum help me prepare for real world aplications , higher studies , competitive exams and professional aspects.
4. Overall, the currriculum is well structured .

Placement Experience:
Placements of our college are above average if compared with other colleges offering bcom. Placements are offered in the final year. The avg package is a little over 6 lpa and the highest goes for between 13-21 lpa depending upon the year

- I like the diversity of students in my college, people from different places have come to the college who bring different values and culture
- The environment in the college is very good seniors are very helpful to us and make us feel comfortable
- The faculty and admin staff is very understanding and have helped me quite a few times
Dislikes
- I'm not a fan of reservations in the college since I believe it is not fair to others
Placement Experience:
I believe the placement cell of my college is very active and good at its job. The student are eligible for placement from the third year many companies have come to our college for placements and many have been placed with great packages

My cousin was a student of Mathematics at Sri Venkateswara College. Based on her experience in the same I will list down some key features of the college:

Faculty- The faculty of this college is without that the best. The professors of Mathematics and even other courses will make you fall in love with the subject. Just stay committed to your course.

Infrastructure- Since you will spend a few years in college, infrastructure matters a lot. Classrooms are well-designed and laboratories are well-equipped. Hostel accommodation is provided for the topper of each course. A new science block is being constructed to add to its infrastructure.

Extracurricular activities- If you are a student here, you will get enough exposure to develop your personality. Apart from academics, this college has a list of glamour studded societies in every field.

Placements- The science students get lesser opportunities as compared to others. A package of around 5-6 LPA is offered to Economic students.

Nexus- This is the most awaited cultural fest of the college. It’s a 3-day fest with a list of versatile activities. It’s the most glamorous event in the college.

Sports- The college has a lush green field with a modern cricket pitch. It also has teams in almost every game like Cricket, Football, Badminton, Basketball, Volleyball, Tennis, Chess, Athletics, Squash.
