Review on my beloved college

Likes

They provide good lab facilities including good instruments and rooms.
Teachers were very good supportive and experienced with good teaching skills,

Dislikes

Auditorium do not have much facilities. There are no fans
Fees are not much affordable and sometimes it's little bit overpriced.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I always like science field and the practicals included were really interesting . I wanted to be in science field because of practicals and many things can be applied in our daily life Curriculum really prepare us for real world applications and also for higher studies. Some teachers are not much active and the didn't complete syllabus in the right time. I think they should set a timetable and cover syllabus before exam . Exams are conducted for 3 hours and that's enough to finish it. The exams are not much difficult and questions are direct .

SN college The best college in Kollam

Likes

Campus is so awesome. There is a plenty of space where you could study or hang out with friends and also have canteen
Faculties are very good and interactive.

Dislikes

The political ambience of the college is bad. The only party is SFI and they behave like dictators there

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is one of the famous colleges in kerala under University of Kerala. Also the classes and facilities are pretty famous in district. Library facilities is the largest one in Kollam district. Getting admitted in this college is pretty hard

Good collage is good for your study

Likes

Colage bus facilities and other line buses
You will go to collage in your bike and they will provises parking

Dislikes

The girls and boys are no either in collage
The seniors are over role in collage campus

The 1000+ companies are ready for placement and their are not come to campus you will go to their company and your interview and they will check your papers and you behaviour and others you will only applied for this you will get a package in some company they give package in profile offered

Likes

A big and good campus with a great atmosphere
Faculties and staffs are also good according some other colleges

Dislikes

Poor bathroom facilities and cleanliness
Lab facilities on Physics department is poor but greater lab arrangement is also there in other departments

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is great but when it was compared to other great universities like Cusat Cut iit the syllabus was not hard enough But we almost covered the topic and went much deeper and the examination toughness was average, most of the time exams were scheduled before the completion of the syllabus and the teaching method was good enough but there can be some improvements like open classes and workshops

Lab facilities was poor in biotechnology department
Placement assessment are very rare. Lab instruments are very rare

The scope of biotechnology is vast .so I choose these subject.research areas very vast. Different types of research fields are in the subject. Course curriculum is not good because placement assessments are not provided.different levels of scopes are in industries but we didn't no about it. Exams are conducted by University.

My dream college

Likes

The faculty of our department wad good and helped us in many ways
The ambiance of the college was good even though the infrastructure is bad it had a vibe

Dislikes

The washroom is jot hygiene at all. It smells bad all the while
There could be more sitting or relaxing area for the students in the campus

The teaching methods and the curriculum are all good and comfortable for the students they make the students understand the topic very well so that they don't have a confusion in learning the topics. They make us involved.

My experience on my college

Likes

I liked the way how the college promotes NCC and NSS
Conducts programs for improving the involvement of the students into various programmes

Dislikes

The washroom is not hygiene enough for daily use
Canteen service could be more improved.The existing one is good but more modifications could be made

I felt that the college offers a good coaching for the course that I choose.They didn't make us feel bad.If we are having any doubt we can approach them and clear doubts.Exams are conducted on the basis of the University basis.They are managable for the students because it comes after a period of 4 or 5 months

Recollecting the memories

The best thing that I like most in our college is library facility. There are more than 1 lakh books are there in our college , along with extensive reading room with all the infrastructure facilities including a laptops, printers etc .
The other thing that I like most is the infrastructure facility. The college is well equipped with innovative technologies. There are separate buildings and rooms for girl students, like a washroom a special washroom is provided for a girl students

Dislikes

The most important thing that I disliked in my college is about the strict character of the college campus . Students are free but somehow many rules are imposed upon the students and we are forced to follow these rules which are not comfortable.
I have a dislike for our syllabus. The semester exams are coming so fast and the syllabus seems pending and it is quite difficult to cover all the portions before the exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually I choose a political science for my masters because I like the subject a lot. My favourite aspect of our course curriculum is about international relations, comparative politics, judicial systems constitution and so on. Why learning international relations ,we can understand what is happening around the world and what is our country's present situation and what are the upcoming challenges in the future. One of my suggestion is that we have to a made the teaching more a practical. At present most of the syllabus is text oriented or textbook oriented. Some of the teachers are mainly focusing on text books of printed notes for explaining the concepts or ideas before the students so this practice should be replaced with more comprehensive and a descriptive teaching style. The most important challenge of our curriculum is the frequency and timing of the exams. It's very very difficult to cover whole portions before the exams. About 60% of the syllabus seems uncovered at exams

Sn college kollam

Likes

Clean campus and good atmosphere also many many trees and good atmosphere for studying. Sn college is one of the best college in kerala so many programmes
Campus is in the centre of the kollam town, The campus is very beautiful and large. So many parks and gardens in the campus also so many stadium and quorts in the campus like fooball, cricket, kho kho , net ball

Dislikes

Management is also asking higher fees for no reason. No any other issues
Drinking water and coolers are not working

I am a photographer and video editor also so this is the reason i choose this course. My course and faculties are very very good. Teachers are very friendly and also teaching well. 42 students in my class. The class is very clean and beautiful

The college is awesome the campus life is out of the world students can enjoy their 3year degree course
The college has good sports activities the college is known for its sports programs the college has one of the best football teams in kannur

Dislikes

The college toilet is pathetic it is the one thing i dont like avout this college it is not well maintained
College campus life is giod but the campus is very small
