There was a PI and you had to submit a video of yourself as an application as well for some people, an exam, the whole process of submission of documents, and everything else is available on the site, can't do much on this part. The marks required have been varied.
An online interview was taken for the selection process. All the information related to college is available on the Amity University website itself. After the selection, they see all your important documents and the fee submission process takes place. After that, you are required to fill out the registration form and choose your desired subject for further approval.
You are eligible for the course B.Sc. Hons biotechnology at Amity University, Noida if you have a verified mark sheet of your 12th with at least 50% marks in PCB and one language subject. There is no entrance test in this university until and unless you are applying for any kind of scholarship and all. There is a pre-defined fee structure that remains constant throughout your course period, with no increase or decrease in the amount. At the time of registration, once your application gets accepted by the university, you get a mail from the institution and everything regarding the fee and course duration will be mentioned in it. According to that one may decide to finally accept the offer letter or not. Everything is cleared before the admission process, which means before you accept the offer letter. Reservation is there but only for name sake, no scholarship is given on that basis to anyone. Everything is good in the registration and admission process. One has to go through several steps for it.
1) Delhi University: B.Sc. course, did not attend because of lack of placement. 2) No quota 3) Direct admission for Btech course for students having a percentage greater than 80%. No age bar 4) Admission process was smooth and counselling was conducted for 3 days where ice breaker sessions were conducted and I got to know about my classmates and interacted with them on the first day itself.
The admission process was an entrance test conducted by the university, Later a F2F interview was scheduled with basic questions about why this course and few other details, It was heavily publishing ads back then and was filing a lot of patents.
I chose this college because AIB has a very good reputation when it comes to Biotechnology in India. It is not just a college but a reputed research institution with active research projects going on. Some research projects are even funded by DBT, Government of India.
I applied online when the 'Apply online' portal opened on their official website 'https://www.amity.edu/aib/', paid the application fee of 1000-1500 INR. I have received an interview date after a month. The application process was quite smooth and all the information regarding the course, course module, fees, eligibility and the start date was mentioned on the website.
I applied for the course online later i got a entrance date in which the authorities test my english grammer, physics and chemistry , this varies according to the course applied. One of the major thing in this college is it also has interview in which three faculties sit and ask different types of question, which the candidate is supposed to answer if he is not good in fluency and he fall back in conveying his thoughts then my dear its a bit tough to take admission in this prestigious university.
