bed, wifi, electricity, AC at additional cost, Laundry at an additional cost, Cheaper options available outside campus Meals are paid and eat, have a plethora of options which can be used, The meal expense is 1500-2000 for the month on economy options. no top end, dominos, and Chinese private restaurants available at regular market rates.
Although I was a day scholar but have heard that hostels are not that great. Also the hostel charges are quite high as they charge 1.5 lacs for AC room and that too without food. So I would suggest you get a PG or a Flat on sharing basis. If one wants to stay in a PG he/she can find it in different sectors across Noida. Also if you want to stay close to campus you can find PGs in Raipur area in front of Gate Number 2A of Amity. If you are looking for an independent flat, you can find it easily in Amrapali.
Hostels are extremely good with the facility of Acs as well as non-Ac accommodation but they don't have the facility of mess. But instead a wonderful variety of food is provided by cafeteria and other brands such as Domno's, Mrs. kaur's, cocoberry, MamaMia etc and also not to forget the extremely tasty food at stalls like Balli's outside Gate No 2. As the number of students are very high in the Campus accordingly seats for hostel are bit less and in such cases a lot of PG accommodations have been created by locals in the near around area.
Since I was a day scholar, I don't have much information about the hostel facilities. However, my batch mates, who lived in the hostel were happy with the facilities. The rooms were good, common areas were nice too. Hostel seats were enough for the number of students, so they didn't have to look for PGs. However, there were a few students who wanted to live outside the hostel. The average rentals were around 4000 - 5000 INR.
