Biotechnology-related companies visit for campus placements in the 4th year i.e 7th semester onwards Usually, students with CGPA above 7.5 are eligible for placements but different companies may have different requirements Core companies like Cryogene, Biocon, and Abbott come for campus placements exclusive for students of the biotechnology domain ATPC is the central placement cell for Amity University and brings companies like Wipro, Accenture, Cognizant, ITC, TCS etc for placements For the year 2022 B.Tech Bioinformatics students had 100% placement

Biotech at Amity, good choice

Placements are decent and well governed by teachers and the department for it, Everyone mostly goes to study after this so not many people opting for it, Packages have been varied due to Covid but an average of 30K is seen.

Life in Amity

From the 6th semester of B. Tech biotechnology, a student becomes eligible to register himself for a placement program. Every year at least 200 students are placed in companies with a handsome salary package. Till now, the highest salary package is 12 lacs. After getting my bachelor's degree I'll plan for my master's in the same field for sure.

Pros outweigh the cons

1) 7th semester is the placement semester. 2) Accenture, CapGemini, Infosys, Nagarro, Cisco, ZS Associates, Cognizant. 3) 8 lpa in my knowledge. 4) 65% of students get places in CSE and IT. 5) Currently working in a full time role.

Personality Development along with a Professional degree with decent exposure

Students are eligible from the penultimate semester for placements. Accenture and Wipro were bulk recruiters with 1000+ offers, pay package was 3.5 lakh PA The biggest pay was from a Japanese company, only 2 offers made at 32 lakh PA

Numerous research opportunities for PostGraduate students

There is a proper placement cell in this institute. Every year many prestigious R&D and private companies visit the campus and recruit potential students via interview, GD and other rounds required. It depends on company to company. The placement season is from roughly November to May. Average package is around 4-5 LPA. BTech and MTech students usually get the higher package, as compared to M.Sc students.

Study at Amity University Noida

Placements are good.Companies come for the placements but you have to have something in you for the job.Amity University Noida has a dedicated placement cell in every major institute as far as i know. Though the quality of placements vary according to your performance in academics,co-scholastic activities,sports and out-campus achievements. The best placements occur in the MBA, B tech (CS) and Law branch
