Bioinformatics is an interdisciplinary course that operates at the intersection of biology and informatics. I chose this course because of my interest in biology as well as data science and analysis. the university provides opportunities for specialization courses and minor degrees as well. The faculty ratio is 1 teacher for 17 students Faculties are highly qualified PhD degrees with first-class master's degrees in related discipline A variety of teaching methodologies integrated with technology are used to provide overall holistic education to the students. For this course, we have continuous assessments for internals that happen throughout the semester followed by external exams. There are two semesters per year and external exams are conducted at the end of each semester External exams are conducted twice a year for odd and even semester-end-term exams. The exams are relevant to the syllabus and exams are fair and not at all hard

Btech is not available in most places for biotech so I choose the course here, it was on a first come first serve basis. There are around 50 students in a batch and about 15 faculties, They have all Ph.D. faculties and few have their labs as well. So all have deep knowledge in their fields.
I opted for the course as I have an interest in this field of biotechnology and research. I love practical work and even research and lab work. The faculty are friendly and cooperative with students. They are always there to help when needed. Amity has a friendly environment. All the professors in Amity are either scientists or PhD qualified. There are different workshops for the students to understand. They teach very practically so that students are able to understand. They use different methods to teach the students. The examination takes 3 hours per exam, or even 2 hrs. The exam contains tricky questions which are difficult to pass if not studied. But professors provide enough material in order to make students understand.
I chose the course B.Sc. Hons biotechnology because it is the ever-evolving & modern field of biology that works for the welfare of humans by using new technologies and advanced ones. All the faculties are good, way of communication and ease of approach is also very normal. Internal assessments are there to keep track of one's preparation. It is easy to pass them even when you study 3 days before the exam.
1) Selected this so that I could get placed at the end of my 4 year program Btech. 2) Plenty of faculty for students. During practicals, the class is divided into 2 sections and plenty of apparatus is available for all students. 3) Mostly PhD and Postgrad teachers. 4) Very timely and exams were up to the standards.
Few faculties are excellent, a lot of faculties of filed patents but not sure on grant status, few presentations of faculties are excellent while showcased in class. Midterms and end terms are the exams Few faculty are exposed to the industry which is good. The course is designed in mind of latest developments with a foreign language as well
Curriculum is well structured by the university. They'll teach you everything , ranging from Cell Science to Biophysics. Curriculum does not only focuses on conventional sciences but also on the emerging fields like Stem Cells Biology,Pharmaceutical Biotechnology and even Intellectual Property Rights. Faculties are very knowledgeable and will help you to gain not only theoretical knowledge but also practical knowledge. It all depends upon how much you want to learn. Also you'll be taught one foreign business language, behavioral science and basic english.
The fee structure is listed on the official website in a brief manner. It is semester-based, and not yearly based. Every year, there is a 10% increase in the semester fee. Apart from this, there is a security deposit of 20,000 INR. If one wants to opt for hostel facility, that required hostel fees as well. My fee started with 60,000 INR.
The fee structure of my college is neither feasible not expensiive it depends on the person whether some one can afford it or not , as a matter of fact if you consider it expensive then it gives pleasures of being expensive such as in house swimming pool ac classrooms
