PWC Patna Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Patna Women's College, Patna doesn't provide placements for B.Com (Hons) in accounts. We have to struggle to get internships also. However, around 70% of students of other departments such as BBA and BCA got placed with the average package of 6-7 lakhs in the companies such as Wipro, Infosys, etc. The highest package offered in the department of BCA is 54 lakhs per annum. I am planning to do a master's from the University of Delhi and then prepare for civil services exams.

We get to apply for placements from sem 4 and are offered by various companies. The package goes to 300000 and lowest goes to 200000. My plans are nowhere ordinary, just going with the flow. The percentage of students should be around 80% approximately for getting a good placement. My plans are either to work in a multinational company or to get a government job.

I chose this course because being from a commerce background i was interested in this course as compared to any other course. The faculty here are all very well qualified but if it comes to rating them on their teaching method then I would rather say it really depends on the subject they teach. Like, for accounting and maths we have got really good teachers but for subjects like business law, i really can't lean on them. We have a total of 6 semesters and i guess it's all in the difference of 6 months. But for scoring well in the semesters you really have to study well especially for the end semesters.

Placement of our college have just now arrived and they are offering not big amount of package due to the location of the college and certain difficulty. Still, college is trying to bring a good number of companies to college with a package of Around 2 to 4 lakh. My plans after getting a degree are to go for an MBA course

Placement is not that good event management and sales jobs are only coming in the college. So many of the students do not accept that job letter. The CTC is not that good 3 lakh annual highest income. 10% of students getting placements in the college Doing masters after my graduation.

Almost 75% of the students are placed. The highest salary offered is Rs. 50,000 per month. The lowest salary offered is Rs. 25,000 per month. The average salary offered is Rs. 40,000 per month. The top recruiting companies for our course. HR, manager, marketing executive, area manager are the top roles offered in our course. The highest salary package offered in our course is 6 LPA. The lowest salary package offered in our course is 3 LPA. The avg salary package offered in our course is 4.8 LPA. Almost 100% of the students got internships from our course in many companies like BOI, NTPC, V-Mart, Tata Motors, Usha, Airtel, American Bank, HDFC Bank, PNB MET, Muthoot Finance, etc.

Good infrastructure, the courses they provide are good following semester system and CBCS system. Faculties are educated and well-trained and one of the highest rated college by UGC in Bihar. Facilities are good.

First of all, this was the only missionary women's college in the city, better from other women's colleges and autonomous under Patna University. And secondly, I don't want to pursue any course out of Bihar since I need to prepare for other professional courses which would have been hectic for me to manage.

It's the best in the city. The course offered here is really good and this college has several curricular activities to take part. Campus is very huge and one can enjoy the college life here. The professor here are highly qualified and the way they give lectures is just spectacular.
