PWC is a powerful college!

Likes

A Ronaldo like discipline is followed at PWC.
No distractions allowed like even th cell phones are submitted at gate and are only allowed on days there are fests or events.
Above all, only quality education is served at PWC.

Dislikes

Sometimes this discipline and rules actually kills us as even attendance of 80% is mandatory.

Currently not many as Bihar hardly have industries but our college has made some connections and therefore those industries come for placements. However only 30-35% students are placed and not many as of now.

PWC is a marquee institute!!

Our infrastructure is like an oasis as excellent buildings and beautiful gardens is what our campus comprises of.
Our placements are good as given the college is in Bihar where there's hardly any industries and still we getting placements is no short of a miracle.
All the girls here are virtuous as most come through merit which is quite high.

Dislikes

Well, societies and all still not that commanding and once that happens our college will be as happening as it could be.

Placement Experience:

Students get placements depending upon the course as accounting jobs are mostly provided the Big 4 and the rest like finance by Financial institutions. Still less than half the students are placed as of now but scenario is changing and soon rhe ratio will increase as well.

Patna Women's College is a dream come true!!

Likes

Even girls like us who are from small town are treated the same by management and faculties.
All the 4 blocks are amazing as each one is better then the other.
Our cafeteria is as good as cafeteria of any other note in our area.

Dislikes

Hostels are strict and also has very less rooms too.

As of now it's the industries and small business owners who have been taking studnets of our college. SMSE are less in Bihar and once they start coming out placements rate will skyrocket which currently stands at 50%.

Patna Women's College is best example of Empowerment!!

I am in love with the faculties of our college as they follow a strict English speaking culture which is otherwise not possible in Bihar.
Girls from various towns and villages of Bihar have come here to study as they see a hope in change in their lives after studying from PWC.
Career assistance in our college is such that we have seen so many things at our campus which were otherwise next to impossible.

Dislikes

Such a strict college as even if we are 5 mins late the college gate will be closed and we will be denied an entry as well.

Placement Experience:

Not so many big corporations but Deloitte one of the largest player in the market for this is one which gives around placements to 10 students. Apart from that, we also get internship opportunities so working hard and getting a PPO is in our hands.

PWC is a women centric college!!

Likes

Veronica Auditorium of our college is a marvel piece as many other colleges and universities have taken inspiration from that.
Placements are now so well assisted that girls of our college don't have to search for jobs themselves.
Our course is without an iota of doubt tough as accounting and then deep accounting leads to never ending accounting.

Dislikes

Not many but local students dont behave well with th students from other towns.

Placement Experience:

Placements have been of good note from last few years as some companies have started making their way here. Deloitte, Punj Lloyd and Some Sugar Companies which operates here in Bihar are the ones which have started marking their way and hiring some students too.

PWC is a powering place for girls!

Likes

Infrastructure first and the best thing as it is so attractive that one of visits a college once will die to study from here.
Second should be the faculties as they are one of a kind.
Third is the quality placements which have begun post Covid as earlier there were no placements.

Dislikes

Too much of a strict culture as we have to wear clothes which are full.

Big 4 and some manufacturing companies who have large scale accounting are the ones who have partnered with college to get them the real workforce for their organisation. A lot of girls from our college who secured jobs from campus have helped the college build network and make sure every year maximum girls are placed from campus.

PWC is a power pact college!!

Best education if available anywhere in Bihar it's in PWC, Patna.
Security is so strict that boys can't even get closer to the campus.
In our event called Virasat, even singers and celebrities are invited and that's the only time boys are allowed at the campus and that too to perform.

Dislikes

No phones allowed inside the campus and therefore even during breaks we are without our phones.

Placement Experience:

Deloitte, PWC, EY and all top asset management companies have tied up with our college as our academics are so strong that every companies what us in their rosters. Nearly 40% studnets were placed in last placements session and our college has promised that they are getting new companies on board this year and once that happens, we will see a steep rise in number of students getting placed from our college.

Professors are very hardworking and Supportive.
College provides us different opportunity to enhance ourselves.
There is no ragging allowed in Patna Women's College

Dislikes

The only thing I dislike about Patna Women's College is that we have to only wear suits.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for the campus placement from last year i.e., from second last semester. So many companies visit for the campus placement some of them are TCS, Bajaj, Mahindra, Vedanta, and many other companies. Almost each student get the chance to be placed depends upon them. I want to do job right now.

About PWC

Likes

I like the environment and the friendly nature of our faculty.
The library is quite big and you'll find almost every book there.

Dislikes

Nothing I'll say.. because everything is quite organised.

Placement Experience:

After semester 5 students are eligible for campus placement. There are many companies that are visited . Approx 50% got placed. But I'll say this is not too good for placement because not everytime students got selected and the package they offer is also quite low.

MY PWC EXPERIENCE:

Likes

The cultural programmes managed by the college
The teaching methods, they use ppts and smart board for better visual experience along with the sharing of their personalised notes.
They gives you many clubs you can take part in, and increase your understanding.

Dislikes

They don't allow you to use phones in the campus even if it's necessary. You must take permission from your concerned teacher before attending an important calls. Though there is a room called benedicta hall, where you have access to mobile phones.
The college hostel is a bit more strict than normal hostels, sometimes it's difficult for students to meet their relatives without prior notice or applications
The college do not provide access to free wifi, this is a major issue sometimes

Placement Experience:

When it comes to placement, from 6th sem only, college starts providing the placement opportunites to the students. Based on the company criteria, you can apply for this. Every year, companies like Amazon, Ola, Byjus, TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, bjaj and many more come in the campus to hire the students and provide various job roles to them. Every year the highest placement can get to 14 LPA to 25 LPA. And average placement lies between 4 -5 LPA. Approx 70% students gets placed from every batch.
