Likes
- Best education if available anywhere in Bihar it's in PWC, Patna.
- Security is so strict that boys can't even get closer to the campus.
- In our event called Virasat, even singers and celebrities are invited and that's the only time boys are allowed at the campus and that too to perform.
Dislikes
- No phones allowed inside the campus and therefore even during breaks we are without our phones.
Course Curriculum Overview
Very very tight as Patna University has its syllabus but we have many add-ons in that and in internals all those are asked. Our curriculum is advanced and the tail piece of the story is that they make us adept in whatever we study. So not just normal accounting but finance and banking are also a core part of our course.
Internships Opportunities
Some CA were the ones who gave internships to 2nd year students and I did the same. Corporate internships are provided only to 3 year students and beyond and that too in top accounting firms like EY and Deloitte.
Placement Experience
Deloitte, PWC, EY and all top asset management companies have tied up with our college as our academics are so strong that every companies what us in their rosters. Nearly 40% studnets were placed in last placements session and our college has promised that they are getting new companies on board this year and once that happens, we will see a steep rise in number of students getting placed from our college.
Fees and Financial Aid
Patna Women's College is one of the best women's college of Bihar and it is run by Cathedral organisation. Luckily for me that I could get admission and though the fees is quite high as it's 98000 a year while others colleges were available with a fees well below 50k.
Campus Life
Around 30 acres of area in which our college is located at and it's a studnet area so location wise and infrastructure wise our college is perfect. A lot of greenery and without a doubt a college where academic foothold is highest we have the best classrooms and also the best auditorium and seminar halls. Sports facilities are also there and some societies also are also associated with some NGOs as well.
Admission
I gave CUET UG as I wanted some top DU colleges but failing to do so I decided to stay in Patna with my parents and searched for the best option for Commerce. Without a shadow of doubt PWC is one of those and cut-offs of 90% proves it that no freebies to get admission here.
Faculty
All are PHD and some CA as well as nobody can teach accountancy better than them. So, I feel lucky and honoured that we have such things at our campus where faculties drive the classes so well that one class and we are cleared with the concepts.
Night Life
Our college is close to Boring Road which is one of the most happening places of Patna. Saras Cafe are two top places but in terms of malls and theatres as well our college campus area has it all in it's close quarters.
