What Students Say

Likes

Even girls like us who are from small town are treated the same by management and faculties.
All the 4 blocks are amazing as each one is better then the other.
Our cafeteria is as good as cafeteria of any other note in our area.

Dislikes

Hostels are strict and also has very less rooms too.

Course Curriculum Overview

Banking and finance are instrumental in any business to run and I wanted to have a core of it in .h system. So I chose this course and I am happy that I got this course. In the second year we have financial subjects and now I am getting some idea on how our subjects and all are going to be in future.

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 98000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Intenrship I missed out after first year but from second year onwards internships in renowned financial institutions are provided and many top financial institutions like Motilal Oswal, Axis Securities and all is where internships were provided to us.

Placement Experience

As of now it's the industries and small business owners who have been taking studnets of our college. SMSE are less in Bihar and once they start coming out placements rate will skyrocket which currently stands at 50%.

Fees and Financial Aid

At Patna Women's College fees for B.Com In Accounting and Finance is 98000 a year. This is more or less same for all as fees doesn't change much here as it has been the same for last 3 years. SC/ST and people with disability get admission fees concession as they have to pay 40% less.

Campus Life

One floor of hotel above the Computer Science block is what we have for hostels. We also have some areas left open as we night see a new hostel coming there given the number of outsiders that study here. Academic blocks are the best and the best is the science block. Cafeteria of our college is as good as hotels of our area.

Admission

I honestly didn't apply anywhere as my parents sent me to Patna was itself and achievement for me. Luckily that the best college in state is a women's college and it was based on cut-off like around 90% in the final list as it started with 94%.

Faculty

Our college has notable names as they were medalists and have also taught in Delhi University. Since they have corporate experience they have given us enough leeway on way the things work in outside campus.

Night Life

For non hostel students the college gate is open to leave after 5 pm and for hostel studnets 6 pm is the limit. Our locality is safe as Patel Road has many five star hotels in the area and one such is Lemon Tree Hotels.

Read it Clearly so your thoughts

Course Curriculum Overview:

I Wanted to Clear Few Professional Exam's and and few of them graduation was mandatory so on that note I've chosen this Course. See, I've done my B.com(Hons.) in Accounting and finance and my professional course is completed related to that so it helped me quite sort of like that. There must should be some accountability too for one who clearrs the paper and needs improvement while checking each student's paper No there's isn't any kind of improvement it needs that's good enough till yet !

So about the influence and all there is nothing which can influence me, their system is totally a useless one they'll notify you today that today is your admit card is available to get , and after that you'll not get one . There's no rule to follow when you're getting your admit card or any documents there is no line everybody is gathered surrounded by other person. So this is what I think They should improve the condition of discipline and rules Abe regulations. About exams as I told you before it's not that hard I think rarely their are students who get failed in those exams but in final one yeah our centre is the other colleges so their is the probability.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Firstly the college doesn't prepare students for the real world. Teaching methods of the teachers are okay but it doesn't help in the real world competition. No extra curricular activities are held for students. College gives enough time for preparation for the examination. Anyone can pass easily in this college.

Good college with infrastructure

Placement Experience:

There is a placement cell on our campus. This cell look at the placement of our college. From the 5th semester onwards, students become eligible for campus placement. The highest package offered is 4 lakhs per annum. The Lowest package offered is 2 lakhs per annum. The average package offered is 2.6 lakhs - 2.8 lakhs per annum. Nearly 70% of students get placement in campus placement of our college. After my degree, I will go for further studies.

Good but a few negative effects are debt, partying, sexual assault, missing family and friends, and stress. I applied for DU and LSR or no DU was my plan. I couldn't get LSR and in other colleges I was getting the branches which i didn't wanted and therefore I took admission in PWC. Patna Women's College is best example of Empowerment!!

Admission are granted on 12th cut-offs like for Bihar State Board the cut off was 82 and for CBSE board it was 89 for our course. So this is the process as college forms are out in May after the 12th results. PWC is a women centric college!!

I applied at DU but was only getting admission in Ramanujan College in DU whole I wanted in LSR, Gargi or JMC. However I couldn't get those and my parnets were against me going to a co-ed college. I choose this Collge because it is Bihar number one college. Also Patna Women's College is Girls College so I Choose to get admission into this. I choosed Patna Women's College over other college because in other colleges the exam centre is given in other but Patna Women's College takes exam inside the College.
