Course Curriculum Overview

5

A lot of people mistake B.Com and B.Com (Hons). Both are different and has different policies pertaining to it. Final year or Hons is research subjects and theory so this was the reason I opted this as a full time course and wil have to admit that B.Com (Hons) from PWC is no less than any professional course out there.

Internships Opportunities

5

From CA firms to corporate firms, students of our college are assisted in getting internships to PWC students. For students who need it are assisted well and do find meaningful Internships as well Stipend is quite low but learning is priceless.

Placement Experience

5

Big 4 and some manufacturing companies who have large scale accounting are the ones who have partnered with college to get them the real workforce for their organisation. A lot of girls from our college who secured jobs from campus have helped the college build network and make sure every year maximum girls are placed from campus.

Fees and Financial Aid

PWC is among the top graduation college of Patna and is affiliated with Patna University. We have a high fees as it run by a Christian society and they believe in imparting quality education for which they charge a fees of 98000 a year for B.Com (Hons).

Campus Life

5

From Dusshera, to Diwali, to Christmas to Eid, every festival is celebrated at our campus and Veronica Auditorium which is one of the largest auditorium that one will find is set a blaze. Besides auditorium we have elevators in Commerce Block and a rich cafeteria area is also there. We have event nights and the biggest of the lot is Virasat.

Admission

I applied at some private universities in Pune, Bengaluru and tier 1 cities. Firstly the fees was high and secondly the course was same or rather a shade low than ours. Also, ROI wasn't that great and therefore I chose this college as in all front PWC is quite better than so called private universities.

Faculty

5

Top management and top faculties is what has taken this college to the top. Faculties have very strict policy but are adorable at the same time. They have given studnets so much of knowledge that still in my third year and I feel like i am well versed with the course.

Night Life

5

Our campus is strict and doesn't promote any night life. Students staying in nearby pgs or after college do go to places like Cafe 13, Gol Ghar and Ina Park. Ashok Nagar is an amazing area and from malls to night out spots, one will find everything over there.

Currently not many as Bihar hardly have industries but our college has made some connections and therefore those industries come for placements. However only 30-35% students are placed and not many as of now.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum needs to focus on what you can do with information rather than the information itself. I wouldn’t eliminate content, without background we cannot form good, rational, and educated conclusions. We are still giving timed tests in math facts! I know that’s traditional, but it just isn’t as important. My era had no calculators and we needed to be proficient at paper and pencil solutions, but now, perfect calculations are available to everyone. We should focus on what kinds of problems can be solved with mathematics. Spelling is equally less important. Vocabulary should be stressed. My sister years ago was taking a test for a personal assistant position where she was asked to type a large number of words per minute error free.

Nothing influenced me yet i just have to go for it because of my graduation . Yes they prepare you good enogh for the rat race you are gonna do in coming future . The curriculam is a joke they will put information today and you have to get today only . I would suggest some of the rules and regulations should be maintained by the staffs and students even with teachers. Exams should in such manner no student can atleast face problems regarding admit cards and can cheat . there is no difficulty in in mid one but final one .

Course Curriculum Overview:

So about the influence and all there is nothing which can influence me, their system is totally a useless one they'll notify you today that today is your admit card is available to get , and after that you'll not get one . There's no rule to follow when you're getting your admit card or any documents there is no line everybody is gathered surrounded by other person. So this is what I think They should improve the condition of discipline and rules Abe regulations. About exams as I told you before it's not that hard I think rarely their are students who get failed in those exams but in final one yeah our centre is the other colleges so their is the probability.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the B.Com curriculum at LNMU around 7.5/10 for relevance and coverage. I chose this course because it included all the important commerce subjects needed for government exams, higher studies like MBA, and basic professional courses. The syllabus builds a good theoretical foundation, but it lacks practical exposure like Tally, GST or real industry projects. Teaching methods are simple and could be improved with more modern, interactive approaches. Exams are held twice a year and follow predictable patterns, so the difficulty level is moderate. With notes and regular study, most students clear them easily.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Firstly the college doesn't prepare students for the real world. Teaching methods of the teachers are okay but it doesn't help in the real world competition. No extra curricular activities are held for students. College gives enough time for preparation for the examination. Anyone can pass easily in this college.
