Vanijya Mahavidyalaya- P.U.

Vanijya is one of the renowned and oldest college for B.Com(H.) in Patna. Also it is one of the college of Patna University which was earlier known as Oxford of North East India. Exams are moderate and results are also timely.

One Time Fees: Application for admission- 1100 Councelling Fee-2255 Recurring Fees: Registration Fee-500 Semester Fee-2005 Examination Fee-650 NIL Scholarship but can apply for State government scholarship as well as National Scholarship Program

Library Facility here are best as there are two library, one of them is college library and the other one is University Central Library. There are variety of books in Central Library which helps students to understand there subjects and also practice questions.

I had applied in Delhi University and BHU, actually got accepted for DU but got rejected for BHU. However my parents didn't liked the idea of studing in delhi as of the pollution and narcotics addiction present there. Also in mean while I have got my name in first merit list of Vanijya Mahavidyalaya.

Faculty to students ratio is good as there are 10 different teachers for 6 subject for 200 students. Teachers do have good knowledge and they try to make students understand topics easily. There are basically 2 exams per semester one is CIA(College Internals) and other is Semester Exams (University Level)

There is No interview for admission in Patna University. Admission is done based on your marks in class 12th boards. Also anything above 70% is most likely to get admitted. There are usually 3-4 Merit List for admission and also there is spot round admission afterwards if there are vacant seats.

There are Library as I mentioned two library one is college library and other one is University Central Library which has variety of books. Cafeteria is also present there one is patna college cafeteria and other one is patna science college Library. College timing are from 08:00-04-00
